  • LOL.... Us guys ALWAYS have an agenda and if we tell you anything different, then we are just trying to put our agenda into motion... The only time this is not true, is gay guys or metro-sexual (haven't come out of the closet) guys.
  • Thank you. Real life is always funnier than fiction!
  • My wife just read this post and called me at work. She wanted me to point out that 5 minutes is on GOOD DAY. And that SHE would log the time, but can't because there is NO "heavy lifting" involved. She is such the comedian at my expense!
  • My work here is done! I'm going to go until it hurts tonight (maybe get 5 minutes 38 seconds out of it, rounding up to 6 minutes) I ROCK!
  • She also tells me that can't count the foreplay nor the "clean-up" time. So, I do P90X before we "play" then I count all 60 minutes as "sex time". Makes me feel like a rock-star!
  • I don't log it. My wife tells me that it has to last longer than 5 minutes to truely count as exercise! She also says it doesn't count if you just lay there!
  • I sub'd KenpoX for YogaX on my first round of P90X. Now, I am week 7 of Round 2 and I have been doing YogaX each week. I can now do Wheel and can hold Crane for about 10 seconds. My goal is to hold Crane for a full minute. I love how during Warrior 3, the sweat just drips from my face. I now LOVE YogaX! Tony Horton ROCKS!
  • It's quite possible your body is adjusting to the same routine. You have to continue to push yourself. You may also try doing a different workout (muscle confusion). Most importantly, don't get discouraged, keep up the hard work and it will continue to come off. Congrats on the lost weight so far.
  • Carbs! My opinion, that is your killer. Carbs provide energy and if you are not working out, you need less energy boosting food. I would modify your goals to be 50/30/20, 50% Protein/30% Carbs/20% Fat. I'll bet you see an instant difference. Also, everyone else is right about eating more too. You don't want to put your…
  • P90X, nothing compares to this program. I have an excellent spreadsheet/program to go with the program to help you track your every move and every bite of food. Congrats on engagement!
  • Most of us guys are true dogs and would go for just about any pickup line you had to offer. Personally, I don't frequent the "gym's" in public, I use the facility at my office. But, when I am working out, I think I would be too self conscious to even realize you were flirting or I would be to self conscious about my body…
  • I think I could do infomercials for P90X! I am on round 2 and have never been in better shape. It is impossible to say P90X doesn't work if you have only done 1 week or 2 weeks of it. You have to complete 30 days at a time and you will see the results. It's not all about cardio either, its about the muscle confusion. It…
  • I agree with the NOT forcing yourself to eat. However, I put the food you documented into the database and I came up with 1550 calories, but more importantly, you are eating way too many carbs, if weight loss is your goal. If you are wanting to shredd the fat, your goal would be 50% protein, 30% Carbs and 20% Fat. Here is…
  • Get P90X, it will change your life! Tony Horton will get you in shape in 90 days! Chad Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • Your body will tell you if you are not eating enough. If you don't have the energy to bring it during exercise, than you are not eating enough. You want to weigh yourself in a consistent manner. The best and most accurate time to weigh yourself is in the morning before you eat anything. You want to weigh yourself 3 times…
  • I agree with edorice. I am a round 1 P90X grad and I did not follow the meal plan at all. I was only concerned with losing weight. In 90 days, I lost 60 lbs (240-180). I was eating around 750 calories per day. I think that put my body in starvation mode though and now I am eating roughly 1700 calories per day and starting…
