The other info is really helpful too especially the part WHERE IT SAYS IN BLACK AND WHITE TO EAT BACK EXERCISE CALORIES...doh !!
-
This is great :) except for the weighing part - i will end up putting myself back into an eating disorder if i begin to weigh every day. I usually do 1 weigh a week bar TOM but as no progress in many weeks i am taking a break from the scale and concentrating on the above post's other great points

Thanks :) it has been a hard ride so far and one of the drawbacks to starving your body of fuel is that when you admit you have an issue and go into recovery then body fights back. I am thinking of eating back exercise cals, try to limit processed WITHOUT skipping carbs as i enjoy them in my diet...and ditching the scale…

Mfp says i should be aiming for 55% which i am under - do you recommend manually changing the macros?
-
Had a stint of clean eating but since starting mfp and following what it says i have been feeling weak and grabbing stuff last minute e.g cereal bar
-
Only days i DO net over 1200 is when i dont exercise
-
Used to have an ED so hate the scale - it makes me cry and it is depressing! My Bmr is 1300-1400 depending on the calculator i used and until Now have never NETTED more than 1200
-
I second this, brown rice, sweet potato, oats etc - if i do low carb i feel faint
-
Im making a deficit too?
-
-
Id be on man v food if i could get away with it

A year ago I was 126lbs, lowest i have ever been is 122lbs. I would like to be 126 again
-
E.g : eating back my exercise calories so my NET Is higher than before (NET would be 1287 today for example compared to NET 940 monday) ???
-
I feel weak as it is - 3-5 times a week working out but cardio ranges in terms of time, could be 60 mins could be more - but within that week there is 90 mins of weights
-
Ha! I hear that! I eat it off a spoon if i need to :)
-
No i dont eat them back - or a small portion if i HAVE to. Today is the first day of making an attempt to eat over 1600 cals and psychologically (damn spelling) i am struggling with the idea of eating 'that much' food ...i have low energy levels..but i love to workout
-
I dont use the ticker because i havent actually lost any weight, i measure everything and i use a polar HRM and always round it DOWN from what it's saying I was wondering if I am netting too low..
-
Can i just say THANKS for spelling it out IN SIMPLE SPEAK! Ive been having 300/400+ cals left at LEAST EVERY DAY and wonder why I aint lost a dime and I feel like crap!! THANK YOU!!!!!
-
I would say that yes I went into recovery for an eating disorder a year ago so i get overwhelmed by all of this :( i would be happier if i lost what i have gained through a love of cake and 'candy'
-
Also, sorry, if i am adding exercise calories do i then eat back? E'g changing the numbers means i have 150ish left today
-
Thanks, ive changed it to .5 and its jumped it from 1200 to 1440 - however... .5 a WEEK?! Thats not much :(
-
According to scooby i need to eat 1700 cals a day and exercise moderately 3-5 hours a week to lose 45lbs a year...is that really how it works??? Where am I gonna get 400 cals a day aaaaaaa
-
Do i track exercise calories or leave the exercise cals at zero and just work at getting the food to that number?
-
Am I being too impatient? I have 9lbs maximum to lose and I want it gone :'(
-
....although by your comment maybe thats the right Direction...
-
I just put it at 1660 playing around with numbers...i have no idea what im doing
