  • I'm a mom of 4 boys, ages 6 and under! Id Love another mommy friend :)
  • Did eating that one star crunch make you gain back ALL 12.5 POUNDS!?!? I highly doubt it. . .so those 25 days are FAR FAR FAR from wasted :) seriously!!! Congrats on your SUCCESS!!! Don't make it all or nothing or you'll never be happy.
  • Thanks so much for the comment! I appreciate the encouragement :)
  • Hey there, I'm from Michigan too and have loved getting out and running outside now again. I would tell you to first check your shoes and that honestly, the first few times you run outside again after months of not, you probably will have shin splints or soreness. There is no shock absorbtion on the pavement like there is…

  • I have one that is for high impact and it zips in the front. It really keeps me together and keeps them from "waving" to everyone as we run by :) I'd look for one like that :)
  • Keep up the great work and keep a positive attitude :) Hang in there and we are all here for you!

  • ROCK ON little sex goddess Lindsay!!! *Woot * Woot
  • Is that picture on your profile a current one of yourself????
  • It feels soo good doesn't it?? I'm down almost 2 sizes now and I LOVE it!! Congrats to YOU :)
  • It will firm up some and trim back up. Are you losing weight fast? And how are you doing it? If you are only doing cardio and diet than you need more. Do core exercises adn strength training too. It's true you cannot lose weight or skin in specific areas from centralized workouts BUT they do tone the muscles underneath and…
  • You absolutely count the calories you burn during cool down!! They are still calories right??? Good luck :)
  • Eat half of your exercise calories at least. That is what works for me anyways. You don't want to withhold too many calories from yourself or you will go into starvation mode. Think of exercise as extra credit.
  • I think satueed is wayyy better :) Just my opinion!
  • you can do this!! Just make logging into this part of your daily routine as well. it's not an option, you just have to do it :) It really does help! hang in there!! You CAN & WILL get to your goals :)
  • Well thanks to all of you who responded :) I do appreciate it and I really appreciate you just listening to me vent!
  • I get what you are saying but I am CERTAIN i do not gloat and besides, they want to brag about themselves but then ask me and if I "one-up" them, they are mad. It's just crazy!
  • Have a workout routine you can do in your bedroom/hotel room. There are lots of things you can do in your room to get a good workout in and no one would even know it but you :) Have things in your purse that are handy if you get a craving. Like whole grain granola bars, soy joy bars or some lean beef jerky. I also keep…
  • GREAT JOB!! that is awesome!! I too am running a 5K on 3/13 in michigan!!! Good luck1
  • I think it's great that you are participating in lent but do you really think giving up mostly all your carbs is the healthy way to go? Sure you will probably lose some weight but it will not be a healthy way of doing it. Your body physically needs them to function properly. how about just processed or simple carbs??? Keep…
  • Why would you want or try to lose weight while you are pregnant?? Have you talked to your doctors?? Because this isn't recommended and not really safe either :(
  • Absolutely invest in a HRM, they are such an asset to you if you truly want to know how many calories you burned. I am getting one! LOL
  • Not silly one single bit :) That is GREAT :) Congratulations!!!!! Be sure to take photos along teh way, that way you'll really notice it when you can compare side by sides :)
  • Well first and foremost do not get discouraged!!! I hit that once I was about 10 pounds down too. I actually gained back like 2 or 3 pounds and it was crazy because I didn't change one single thing! Anyways, keep doing what you are doing but change things up, like do a totally new exercise routine so that your body will…
  • CONGRATULATIONS!! That is truly impressive :) I'm soo happy for you!
  • You will have a very hard time achieving your goals until you accept yourself as you are right now. It's really true that you have to be positive and optimistic. If you are cutting yourself down and don't have any confidence, how do you expect to do this for yourself when you are acting like your own worst enemy? We are…
  • haven't even heard of it . . . but good luck!!!!
  • Do NOT beat yourself up at your workouts because you think you are "fat" or "lazy". I had the hardest time with that. I was sooo mean to myself!! And that made it even harder. Now i really do appreciate everything that my body does and is capable of. it's an amazing feeling and you actually will start to push yourself…
  • I agree with sdirks. You didn't come this far already by just "taking a week off". I bet if you just make yourself go you'll feel much better than if you just stayed in bed. Just carve out even 20 minutes to do something like that for yourself and you'll feel better. Hang in there!
