My problem with booking with a PT is that all the instructors are French (I live in France) but my French is really poor. I have googled free weight sessions - they tell you to do a this lift or a that lift but don't explain what these lifts mean

Why not ask for a cupboard/space for you to buy your own healthy foods and ask your parents to hide the Junk so that you don't know where it is. If your parents love and support you and want you to be healthy too I'm sure you can work something out

To complete the 30 day shred (3rd time lucky) so I'm somewhere near to fitting into my wedding dress - long term goal for said Wedding Dress to fit like a glove. I have the measurements of the dress and have been taking my measurements too but my waist doesn't seem to want to join the party!

Swimming is a great form of exercise and is really good for toning your body, or aqua aerobics is very good too - it gets the heart rate up without putting any pressure on your joints/muscles

I love mine - it does tell you how many calories you have burned and steps you've taken. I only paid £50 for mine and I think it was worth it

I think it depends how much up top is fat or real breast tissue?? I lost about 50lbs a couple of years ago and I went from 38D to 36DD

Thank you all so much for your insight :smile: you are all so right, it is a lifelong change, and just perseverance is I guess the key. It's good to know I'm not the only one that has been through this though and to see the successes you have still achieved!

I've realised that most of the time I've not been eating enough or over eating, not allowing my body to get used to a routine of food (skipping breakfast, big lunch cos I was starving and then late dinners) and therefore has been hanging onto the calories I've been eating as it never knew when it would next get them

This is also my motivation. I am getting married this year and although we've not tried to conceive yet there have been occasions in the past where I should have been caught out and fallen pregnant but never did which I suspect is due to my weight. Feel free to add me as a friend :)
