Check consignment shops, most of the time you can find almost brand new clothes for super cheap. You can even take your old clothes and sell them.

I love it! I use it on my shins when they start to ache from me doing to much and it helps. I bought a roll from Academy for around $10-12 dollars? I think. You can also search the web and order it. I use the black because it sticks better.

I bought Asics gel blur 33's this time and I have not had any problems with my shins. BUT...I am also stretching more and I am not a heel striker anymore which I think is the key to not having shin splints. Good Luck!

If you are not wanting to buy a new pair of shoes I would suggest some inserts. A guy at Finish Line told me that they have a pair that are pretty awesome. He uses them because he gets knee/leg pain after running (and with the new insets he doesn't have any pain.) If that doesn't work, a new pair of fitted shoes would…

Make yourself small goals every weeks, like you are going to eat a piece of fruit at breakfast, or you are not going to eat fast food for the week. Start slow! Take some time off from running but I would ride a bike or the elliptical to keep your cardio up. Ice and stretching, there are lots of stretching exercises you can find on the internet. Also try KT tape. I started to get a pain in my lower leg where I usually get shin splints and I wore that tape for 3 days and I don't…

This mornings weight...173! I think it's a fluke but I'm still happy! (at least its not a gain!)

I personally don't think you are that hairy...I wouldn't mess with it. Most women won't mind, and if they do, oh well! You won't be able to keep it up forever.

I want to join! My weight is 176 and I'm working on 145 or less...just depends on how I feel/look when I get there!

Have you taken some measurements? When I don't lose any weight, I usually lose a couple of inches!

Polar FT7, super easy to setup and use! I bought mine off ebay for $75
