Hi doll! I can't wait to have lost 20 lbs
-
I've lost 10 lbs so far, but I'm still the heaviest weight I've ever been (217) What can I say? I just let myself go. My life felt like a disaster, so I just ate my emotions like a fiend to cope. Finally when *kitten* hit the fan (my relationship ended, I moved back home, was forced to start over) I said ENOUGH. I decided…

For now I'm at 2/week and set at sedentary. The past 2 weeks I've lost 4 lbs, so it seems to be working. I eat back a portion of my calories from working out and my calorie goal is 1200. I have 57 lbs to lose

Strange my post got cut off. I'll try again. Hi I'm Gabrielle! I'll be turning 30 Jan 11 and I have 57 lbs to lose. I've already lost 10 lbs and I'm pumped to keep on doing the things I need to do to continue losing. XO!

Hello everyone! Thank you for starting this group

I work at The Cheesecake Factory and even I can't get my hands on an updated copy of our calorie info. According to all 4 of the kitchen managers there is no printed info to show a guest if they ask. We do have very accurate info on our desserts though. It's not a printed list, but if a guest asks I can at least run to the…

Thank you all very much! I love the feedback about seeing the results before I start making adjustments and also focusing on making exercise a habit. I'm eating very well and staying within my deficit, so I feel confident about that. I do feel a bit inactive since it's the slow season at work and I'm just not moving much…

Sounds good!! Thank you and I agree  I think I could do at least a little bit more consistently through the day. Maybe a walk even? Zumba online? I can do more

I could have written this. Who knew so many people were like me out there. I'm sorry you're going through this. I know it all too well. I'm 3 weeks no binging/fasting and I've begun a healthy lifestyle in the hopes to sustain that. You may be like me and just have to stay away from certain trigger foods for a while. Also,…

Today I am grateful that I am making an effort to better myself and my life.

You all are great. Thank you, I really needed to hear these things. I definitely won't make it a habit it continue eating while full, but I feel less like I ruined my whole day or healthy eating after these responses. I need to be better about not being so hard on myself. Thanks again :)

^I'm Bad habits is why. Overeating got me here...

Alrighty so apparently Recipes is glitchy and can at times be very incorrect. I deleted my recipe and then manually entered all of the ingredients again, and this time it worked. 780mg sodium makes way more sense than 3557mg per serving. Just an FYI to all who read this :)
-
Thank you for the responses. I'm confused by the high sodium because I added up the sodium mg from each ingredient and divided it by the number of servings and I got 680mg. Someone please help me understand how one serving of homemade turkey chili (no added salt) could be equivalent to the amount of sodium in fast food.…

I just checked and the sodium matches the can I have :( I didn't realize canned foods had so much sodium

I started this week. Tomorrow will be day 4. I mainly do the modifications because I'm so out of shape but even with that I am dripping sweat and breathless at the end. I go at my own pace but I intend to push myself as I get stronger

Blitz, I won't debate whether juicing is healthy or unhealthy. I have juiced and felt well during a fast, so I get it. My longest juice fast was 25 days and I felt fine during and after. That aside... there is no argument that you are taking a shortcut to lose weight. You are. There is no denying that. I challenge you to…

lotsa typos, sorry haha I was distracted with baseball

Yep I did it. I worked well for me for a time, but I eventually realized I didn't need to cut all of those things our forever. Like beans and ALL dairy. I suggest doing the Whole30 (stictly paleo for 30 days) and see how your body responds. Then slowly incorporate certain foods back into your diet, one at a time. I found…

You do gain some of the weight back. That's normal. But you don't have to gain it all back if you eat a balanced diet after the fast from then on. Problem is, many people struggle with this long term. Not all, but many. Myself included when I had my many bouts with juice fasting. Fasting to lose weight is as mentally…
-
As someone who has researched juice fasting, watched fat sick and nearly dead, and done many juice fasts myself... I can say whole heartedly that juicing can be a positive thing to incorporate into your life but juice FASTING can be dangerous and have many terrible side effects. I lost my hair from juice fasting which is…

Great idea! Thank you! Surprised that didn't cross my mind

Thank you so much for the encouragement and replies. Chips are a definite slippery slope/trigger for me, but I want to conquer this. I know that it's not about how many times you fall but how many you stand up. I just don't want to fall anymore haha... love the response about patience. I'm very new at this, I know. I was…

Add me! Lets do this!

Way to go! I'm right where you are except it's been about 9-10 months for me. I've gained a looooot of weight. Talk about binge eating and eating your emotions. I know all about it! I'm a expert! Be thankful it's just 3 months. Your body will thank you and reward you for treating it well. Good job!
