I think the biggest thing that made me gain the most recent 24lbs was a combination of daily hot fires and ginger soda. Probably about half of that was water weight from being so bloated and swollen from the insane amounts of sodium in the hot fires.

I can say from experience, DON'T just throw the eggplant in the blender and DON'T eat it raw, lol. It really taste terrible raw! I have not found a good way to eat eggplant that doesn't involve salt :/ Also, tomatillos are usually used in Mexican cooking, I make sauce with them. Soooo tasty, wish I could get them in Italy!…

I think its pretty easy to eat ~1200 calories a day as long as you're not eating junk food. I usually eat between 1000 and 1300 a day and I'm not hungry at all nor do I feel deprived. My diary is open if anyone wants to look.

Right now, just a lot of walking. I'm not really doing this for the weight loss so much as just getting my body healthy. The exercise is sort of an after thought because I have so much energy from the whole food diet.

I'm 5'4" and started at 239 (my all time high ever) I've been on MFP for just under a month and I'm at 223.4 today. I try to walk for at least an hour 3-4 times a week and eat a mostly whole foods/raw diet. I don't know what my ultimate goal weight will be. Right now, I'd just like to be under 200 again! LOL

I think I understand to an extent (as far as husbands go) My husband, I don't think has ever tried on purpose to foil me. I am also low carb, low sodium and I pretty much stick to raw fruits/vegetables, nuts and small amounts of cheese. When I cook, I use only spices and sometimes a bit of nu-salt. Processed food is the biggest contributor of sodium so if you cut that where you can, it will be easier to stay under 2500.
