I only use cardio to get my heart-rate up then move on to weights and then back to cardio then back to weights. That's what my trainer always did with me. And that's what I find works the best for me. I do find just walking/running or biking to no where extremely boring!

Definitely! Congrats on the weight loss! you look Amazing!
-
Once I get to my goal weight I would like a breast reduction

Maybe you make better choices the days you work out? Higher protein and fiber meals. Or like above posted said maybe you have more boredom eating on the days you don't work out because you have more free time?

I have the same problem! I also eat when I am lonely or sad or any other emotional reason. Which is weird because when I was younger I used to feel ill and not be able to eat. But I realized part of that is because now I have kids and a husband and I can just leave when ever I'm feeling bad and walk it off and think it out…

What works for me when I do it is to plan my whole day from breakfast to dinner first thing in the morning or the night before. Then I know where I am at and if I have any "extra" cals to eat if I feel like it. IT really helps me make the healthiest choices for my day. I find I often will switch something out and…

So day one of making healthier choices and fighting the urge to eat just because I'm bored, lonely, mad, sad or just mindless eating. I'm going to get back on track!

I love eggs with Salsa!

Thanks, it's so rough when you feel so stuck. It's not like you can do anything to speed up getting better with this. Some people kick it in 4 weeks and some have it for a year. I must be one of the lucky ones...I know I could have come down with something much worst but it doesn't make this suck any less. I just really…

I made this today. But I tweaked it a bit I put in 6 chicken breasts and a few chicken tender cuts I did the 1/4 cup of soy sauce then the crushed pineapple but I didn't drain it then a chopped up 2 small yellow onions and cooked it for 6 hours on high My family loved it! My picky eater then never mixes anything together…

Those are great pics! Congrats to you for your lost!
-
I know how that goes. I eat bad things when I am down and bored!

no problem. I had a seizure while working out with my trainer last March. She thought my sugar was low but they took my sugar and it was fine. Turned out to be very low potassium which scared the hell out of me once I did research on what that could do to me.
-
One more thing about potassium that I have found is your diet must stay under the daily max of sodium. Too much sodium in your diet with make it so your body can't absorb potassium. Which I never knew till I became deficient in potassium and wanted to know why.
-
Bananas is always the thing people tell ya. But I will tell you bake potato is worth almost half of your potassium for the day. A banana only has about 400, Orange juice has more then Oranges but the calories and sugar are high and again your only getting about 400 Here is a list of food rich in Potassium…
-
Agree with all the above and you need more protein and like someone else said track your sodium as well.
-
You look great! This post was just what I needed this morning. Thanks for sharing your success!

I wouldn't count playing the bowling tennis and golf. I've never really elevated my heart rate enough to think of it as real exercise. I think it's better then just sitting watching TV but I don't think it burns very many cals. If you were playing Just dance intensely for 30+ minutes I would count that. Or even the boxing…

I'm in. I hope I can continue it. I'm recovering from Mono and haven't worked out since August cause I have been so sick :(
-
What have you been eating?
-
Jillian Micheal's videos are pretty inexpensive 9 dollars at walmart for the 30 Day shred.
-
Congrats! I wish I would have stuck with it. I'm going to start it back up tomorrow. I would do measurements now and then do them after your AF too. It probably won't be that different.
-
Good luck Meghann. (((hugs))) These are one of the profession where you definitely know you are in a mans world. Weather you are able to continue on breastfeeding and meet your goals or you need to supplement you should be so very proud of how far you came. I was only able to breastfeed one of my children for all kinds of…

I would get the junk out of the house for everyone. I can see how she would be offended when everyone else has the same food options. Only get that fun food for special occasions and don't get them regularly in the house. Make a life style change instead of dieting.

MFT2010 Thanks I've used it for the screen name a lot of places for many years. I love partylite and it was my favorite peice that they used to have. Plus the cool painting by Vincent van Gogh. Congrats on moving up a level. Angrypanda When my muscles get like that I have my husband massage me. Maybe try soaking in a hot…

Congrats MFT2010 on sticking with it. I need to find that strength!

I would suggest talking with her doctor about that. The main thing to do is limit junk, get rid of soda, fruit juice, switch to skim milk if you haven't already. Then talk to her about good fuel for her body. Make healthier choices get her interested in some form of physical activities.…

So I just can't seem to make myself do this today. It's so freakin hot in! I think I am just going to hit the gym when my husband comes home. This humid air just doesn't work for Asthma at all.
