I disagree. Have you ever had to completely withdraw from sugar? Considering your weight loss, I'm assuming you have. Or at least, cut down much less than what you were consuming before. So then you'd know that it can make you physically ill- much like when a drug addict is coming off of drugs. Sure, there is a huge…

Thank you all for your replies and help. I love getting feedback that isn't sugar coated (no pun intended). Food addiction is very real and something I've struggled with my whole life. I'm absolutely going to take all of your advice into consideration. Thank y'all so much!!

I think you missed the point. There is, indeed, a correlation.

I wonder why this is. I experience the same thing.

nicola- the SAME thing happens to me. I'm about to just toss my scale from my house and use the one at the gym. The one at home is just making me angry. The one at the gym seems to move while the one at my house gives me the middle finger. I wonder what it is that causes this bloat? I just drank some coffee- hopefully that…

P.S you should put your new picture up here to show off your new, smokin' bod!! :)

I use a fitbit. I love it and you can link it to MFP.

Are you a Gamecocks fan?? And I have never been to that gym, but I drove past it today actually. Everytime I think about going I feel like I'm going to walk into a room filled with buff Army men. Which is fine, but... a bit awkward for me. lol

It's not that I don't want opinions on Medifast-- I don't mind them. I guess when I told my coach that I was feeling dizzy she would have said something like "Well, I know you really like to work out- so let's alter your plan to increase your calories. Let's do 3 lean/green meals a day and your snacks will be medifast."…
-
I guess my question is ... the coach made it seem like me wanting to continue to work out the way I am was a bad choice and one that wouldn't allow for success simply because I am starting off heavy.

Yes, it's a very low calorie diet.
-
I agree, ceoverturf. You can't out exercise bad eating habits.

I'm in!

Thanks everyone for the replies! Bodybuilding.com is a GREAT website. I LOVE it!!!

I've googled it and have found really not much info. A lot of it is geared toward men who are looking to bulk up and its just for weights. I enjoy doing cardio as well as weights. I even tried looking up a 12 week (or 8, whatever) program. Nothing. :(

what type of eating disorder are you referring to? Anorexia, bulemia, overeating? I think, in a way, most of us who are here to lose a substantial amount of weight are struggeling with an eating disorder-- but it might not be the kind you're talking about?

Thank you, Lov for sharing. I'm dealing with the same, too. I have an 8 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old. I'm a full time student, too and my husband is military. I don't work outside of the home, so that's a blessing. I'm trying so hard to stay positive today. Just gotta keep pluggin' along I suppose!

Thank you! You did?? From your profile picture you look absolutely fabulous!!!

Thank you!!

Thank you so much everyone! I honestly was a little nervous because I don't see that much of a difference, but ya'll have inspired me that my hard work is paying off!

Ugh. Sorry. It didn't work. I followed the directions.. hmm.
