^^Which i will state I have done in the past with great results both with fat-loss and muscle/strength gain. It can and will be done. :) Okay! I am done for today guys, here are my short stats: Waist: 37 (actual), 38 pant size. Official starting weight: 212 lbs (before any food today) Breakfast: 1 Cup Oatmeal : 300…

Okay, guys! I am off to bed! I will post my official starting weight, my daily activity, and food intake tomorrow night! Feel free to cheer me on or criticize me, just as long as you stay involved! ;)

I don't agree, as I know how my body handles cardio. You should add me as a friend, though. I would love to keep in contact!

It may not all be fat (some water). I will be lifting hard and if history is anything to go on, my strength/size will increase if anything in that department. But like I said, if I can't do it, I will still have something to show for the next 45 days I am sure and I will continue to do a regime that makes sense for me…
-
Well no it wouldn't last the long, my goal is to drop 20-30lbs and then slow the cardio down to 15-20 minutes a day and start focusing on muscle/strength gains.
-
This weight had stayed off for two complete years last time I did this type of regime to become a medium size. How did it come back? Because I tore both tendons in my arm playing basketball and was unable to do anything (other than walk) for around 4-5 months. So what happened? I had a diet of around 2500 calories because…

Alrighty guys, Im gonna get at it, well I have already been hittin' it hard for over a week now, but I have 6 more weeks and then I will take some more pictures and see if I can do anything worth showing to you all. and "no" is the wrong answer. Watch! :) And if I can't lose 20lbs, I still believe I will have some results…
-
Believe me, I can and I have built muscle on this type of diet, all over eight weeks or so. Don't get me wrong the gains were not would (I went from curling 20lb weights 4x4 to 35 2x4 and 40 2x4, bench went from 140 to 175 and for the first time in my life I could do pull ups and unassisted dips) they would have been on a…

I would say if you are feeling completely satisfied (full) there is no way your body could possibly think that you are starving it.

Why did he choose UK? Hopefully not because their basketball team is good, unless he is on it! haha just kidding

Im from Missouri, too! Originally from Nixa, now in Columbia!

I don't watch the princess bride so I can't tell you what R.O.U.S means but Google can! ;)
-
SueMizzou, please tell me you are a fan of the University of Missouri

Their mini billzard is not even half a scoop of ice cream...its such a waste..just think to yourself it would take about 45 minutes to burn that 2-3oz ice cream off.
-
Can I join in? At most I think I can drop 30 but so I'll meet you halfway!

Hi, I seem to have the uncommon talent of gaining and losing at the same time: from January 2009-May 2009 I went from being 195 pounds to 185 and drive from a size 38 jeans to size 33, which means that I gained a heck of a lot of muscle in that time frame. I actually feel better about seeing muscle than I do seeing fat go…
-
I did before I tore my tendons...it got to the point where I was doing 2 hours of HI cardio when I was completely fit but I just felt like I had to do it.
-
Yeah, that makes sense. I dont ever workout in the winter outside so I cant compare but that has to be the only rational explanation. Though, I wonder why it doesnt bother a lot of other people?
-
Im not sure what the issue is though. Because I can go run for 30 minutes outside in 100 degree weather and feel fine (in the lungs) maybe its just my lungs are screwed up from the cold temps.
-
You get a lot of water from food...so drinking an actual 64 oz of water may bit over-doing it unless you are doing cardio then i would drink as long as you are on it!
-
I dont think it is the "correct way" it is just one way to do it.
-
Yeah its 100 here, but I dont have my bike with me and Im away from home on an internship so I have to go INSIDE to work out! :(
-
Yeah, I mean, at my home I use to have an ellipitical and I turned the temp to around 75 degrees or higher and had no issues breathing, but at the gym with the cold air and the fan its hard to walk around without feeling the sting. I dont have asthma issues that I know of or allergies.
-
help? no, Im not to the point where I need help.
-
My god. Yes I know that. I never said that none of that is important, Its not a "trollfest" the thread topic is a QUESTION not a STATEMENT the damn thing wouldn't let me change it to "counting calories...a diet killer?"
-
I perfectly respect this! I certainly understand that type of mentality that if you eat bad once, you might as well continue. I try to keep the mindset that my body is accumulated..meaning if I look bad, I need to balance it out.
-
Great post! I agree.
-
What you are saying is true, but I have had issues with food in the past and it now a part of my alcohol issue. I don't need to keep track of alcohol as it will impair my ability to work out the way I need/want to so its just going to be cut out completely and I think that will help me eliminate much of my weight off the…
-
Well the issue with alcohol is...it impaired my judgement.. So what happens (being a light weight or use to) I would drink and make the decision for another, then another, etc. Afterwards (and around 1000 calories or so later) people would be like "lets order a pizza or have some drive us to taco bell" then you can add…

Great post! Thats how I feel, too. I guess I shouldn't make my other thread "I don't weigh myself because I go by looks rather than wieght". That would probably piss a lot of people off haha. But I don't. I say I want to lose 20lbs but in reality after 20lbs if I look terrible in my eyes, then whats the difference? I just…
