Thanks everyone great feedback and ideas!

I just bought a TRX suspension trainer - my PT recommended it highly to me, should arrive tomorrow I can't wait to try it!!

Thanks for taking the time to reply - both good answers. Might have to hit up the sports massage idea my hamstrings are KILLING me. I hadn't thought of asking them to write me a weekly plan. That is also a good idea as I am really tired of the program initially written for me by the gym even though its only been 4 weeks.

We could be twins, I'm exactly the same!! My portion size is my problem! Today's food diary includes 38 malteasers... how the hell did I eat that many!!

I joined WW a fortnight ago. I used to do the MFP thing and did awesome on it, got hooked on exercise and unfortunately hurt my knee in the meantime. I got depressed about the lack of control (I used to exercise more than 1.5 hours a day so I could eat heaps) and stopped logging. Gained 15kg. I just could not shake myself…

bump, this was on TV today here in Australia on gem - as it was raining pretty much all day here in South East QLD/Northern NSW I'm sure a lot of us Aussies were stuck indoors watching TV on yet another rainy weekend. What is it with the rain lately!!

I lost 22kg with both kids (EXACTLY 22kg!) from breastfeeding alone. Have a big protein diet and eat lots so you have lots of milk. Enjoy!! Enjoy!! Enjoy!! Best days of my life!! All I did was walking, drinking lots of water and eating lots. Oh and I breastfed on demand. From what I've heard only the first 6-12 months of…

I didn't realise how much "normal" activities added up until I injured my knee. Not only was I not exercising at least an hour a day I wasn't able to hardly do anything around the house anymore (unless you count limping/hopping from one half of the house to the other only to sit down again). I gained 7kg in about 7 weeks…

honestly I think some of it goes with time, and some is genes, who knows... two and a half years later and my stretchmarks are still going strong although the ones from my teenage years are slowly dissapearing...10 years later (or more..). I saw a mum at the pool with a 6 month old baby and she was a personal trainer and…

I'm from the QLD/NSW border on the coast at Tweed Heads or weed Heads according to one of the signs on the highway :)

far f*cking out.... you look amazing!! Well done that is INSANE. You have given me motivation, I have two kids and don't always get the greatest sleep. I dont have as much weight to lose but feel at times like I can't do it because I'm tired but if you can, I can! Thanks!! PS Don't worry about bubs sleep, they eventually…

I'm in so much pain with one knee and it's only been a month. I used to do a lot of exercise but stopped when I started full time work contract lasting 9 weeks as it was quite physical so I didn't really need to. Ironically the week before I finished work my occasional knee pains jacked up a few notches on the pain scale…

hey I'm 27 and from the Gold Coast/Northern NSW border :)

I work out far harder at the gym then at home. Last time I was at the gym there was a guy who would be close to 60 absolutely going all out, tension on 10 didn't stop for 30 minutes, next to me on the cross trainer. Meanwhilst I had to keep it on resistance of 1 and if I had of been at home I would've given up and hopped…

good for you stopping history repeating itself :)

they test for this now in hospital after you have a baby (well where I live anyway) . Yes mine are seperated as I had my two babies close together and initially when I first dropped the weight after my son my stomach just hung there so gross. I was too scared to lose the last 10kg thinking I'd have major skin overhang but…

that happens to me all the time and I realise AFTER I eat the whole thing that it was 2 serves... stupid labelling. Then I have to spend an hour on the exercise bike to make up for it.

here in NSW Australia they made a law that larger chains ("standard food outlets") had to display the kj content of food as well as a statement of what the average daily intake is for an adult.. It's silly that its not Australia wide as I live on the border and literally am in the next state in 10 minutes. Bu it really…

stupid honey added nearly a third of the calories (saying this because I nearly ate 3 servings thanks to my lack of lunch) and each serve is 178 calories. I will try it next time only using natural sweetener no honey

I like Zumba because I like lower impact and having fun when working out. I HATE bootcamp style so I just wouldn't do it. So I stick with what I know I love - fun :)
-
wow thats fantastic but what on earth do you do for work to wear a helmet whilst on the computer?
-
congratulations!!
-
great job!! Far out 48kg is a huge amount to lose thats incredible

welcome, pretty sure your not alone with the spouse who raises an eyebrow... haha I've seen it a few times on here and I experience it too. I don't really care, he can think what he wants when I lug my ab circle/door gym/etc through the door (....OK I did sneak them in). Welcome to most mother's problem (you must be a…

I weigh myself all the time, the scales are in the laundry and its just procrastination/habit not obsession. I even weigh myself on other peoples scales when I am visiting their house just for the heck of it. Once I went to a girls night in at a friends place and as the night wore on, all 8 of us visiting admitted that…
