I was on lexapro for years. It didn't affect my weight one way or the other. The most important thing is to remember to keep logging here. Stay within your calorie range, move more and drink water. Good luck.

Welcome. Its not easy to lose weight if you don't cook your own meals. Its important to start simply. Adding fresh fruits and veggies to your diet. You don't even have to cook those! There are lots of recipes online that can help you get started. Skinnytastes.com is one of my favorites. Most important is portion control.…

That's why when I drink, I drink wine. Problem is they list it on here at like a 5- 6oz serving. Chances are once I pop the cork, its not going back in, LOL. They need to list it as its proper serving size: one 750ml bottle!

I've lost an automobile tire and a guinea pig!

Good job! Getting off my blood pressure meds was such a great acheivement for me! I developed an allergy to the one I was on and my doc gave me six weeks to get control of my blood pressure or he was going to have to switch me to one with a side effect of weight gain! Keep up the good work and keep monitoring that BP!

Try engaging them in your journey by inviting them on to review your diary everyday. Let them know you need help with accountablitiy and support. Maybe, just maybe, seeing your better choices will pique their interest to make better choices of their own. Unfortunately, you cannot help anyone who doesn't want to help…

I call it a "recovery " meal. I pick one meal about once every two weeks. Sometimes I'll even have dessert. It helps me recover physically and emotionally from restricting calories

The good news is that your daughter is not a baby cow. She doesn't need cow's milk! Almond milk is loaded with more calcium than dairy milk and tastes much better. Talk to a pediatric nutritionist for other dietary options.

I am on day 6, level 1. Friend me and keep me abreast of your progress and I'll do the same. We can do this. In fact, I should go start day 7 right now.

Matter cannot be created or destroyed, so....If I am losing weight then someone else is gaining it.

When people ignore the sign requesting people with small children use the "family" locker rooms and thier 5 year old son gets a free show while I am trying to get dressed. Seriously!? Why not pop the kid some popcorn and erect a pole for me? I'll give the little tyke a good show!

When I came to the realization that I had become completely obsessed with calories every second of every day. I was enjoying the weight loss but not life. I nearly had a panic attack everytime I was faced with mealtime. Felt I was at a level that would not be sustainable for long. I was tired and cranky all the time. This…

Didn't realise that this was still a practiced "diet"

Weigh or measure your food to teach yourself about healthy portion sizes. Start reading labels. If you can't pronounce it, don't eat it. Drink water, stop drinking soda (even diet).

Holy smokes! You are a rock star! 4 months and what a transformation. I am inspired.

I am on 1200 as well. If I raise my calorie level I find myself eating more "'empty" calories. If I keep myself at 1200 I make sure to make each and every one of those calories count. When I am away from home I up my calories to 1600 because lower calorie options aren't always available at mom's or in-laws. As for all…

I have fibromyalgia so I know all about pain. The trick is that you have to start slowly and work your way up. First, you can lose weight just by cutting calories. The more weight you lose, the easier and less painful it will be to move. Second, improve your flexibility with yoga. There are lots of beginner yoga dvd's out…
