HOW DO I GET STARTED

MY WORK DAY IS SO BUSY THAT I BARELY HAVE TIME FOR A NORMAL LIFE. BUT MY DAY CONSIST OF SITTING AROUND A LOT IVE NOTICED THAT MY STOMACH IS LARGER THAN NORMAL. I ALSO FEEL LAZY A LOT. I NEED TO FIND AWAY TO GET STARTED LOOSING WEIGHT I NOW WEIGH 170 LBS AND I AM 5'5. I HAVE NEVER EXERCISED BUT NOW THAT I AM GETTING OLDER I GUESS MY BODY DOESN'T BURN THE CALORIES OFF LIKE IT USED TO. I RECENTLY VISITED MY DAD AND HIM AND HIS WIFE TOLD ME THAT I WAS TO FAT. I WENT TO MY CAR AND CRIED THE WHOLE WAY HOME I DON'T KNOW HOW TO START AND DIET OR EXERCISE PLAN IF SOME CAN HELP ME WITH THIS I WOULD APPRECIATE I.

At first, just try to eat the calories that MFP has set up for you.
Once you can do that, then you can think about changing your diet. Just pick a goal every week or two: preparing more meals at home, eating more vegetables or fruits, etc. Don't try to change everything at once. It's too overwhelming and you'll get frustrated and quit. Just focus on changing one habit at a time.
There are a lot of helpful and friendly people here. Ask questions-most of us don't bite!0 -
well, you are in the right place. you start slowly. eat less, move more and drink lots of water. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies. Start weighing or measuring your food, logging it in the MFP journal. Find an exercise you enjoy. Start simple with walking or yoga. Keep coming here and seek advice, support and encouragement. Find some friends to hold you accountable on here. You can add me if you'd like.0
