WOW. Can I just say that every single one of these replies gave me something I NEEDED. I just came back from my nike training class (1 hour of calisthenics) to all these awesome messages. Seriously you guys keep me on track and sane in all this crazy sh** and doubt. (can I just put you guys in my pocket and work out with…

Like I said. Im just being super accurate this week. Im starving all the time but maybe thats just how its going to be. Im never in a real "off season" so there is no good time for me to drop this weight than the present. If still nothing then I have to eat maintenance anyways for 2 weeks before my race June 8th so that'll…

you get it!!!!!!! finally someone who understands. And also understands how wrong some of these others are haha.
-
you're right. If this week still has no results then Ill try and find my maintenance through trial and error. Ill eat 2000 for 3 weeks and see if I lose or gain. then ill adjust from there till I find it.
-
I could play with my macros more. Like I said. I think ill be super spot on this week and see where that gets me. Ill deprive myself of treats and weigh everyhting that goes in my mouth (even though Ill get weird looks haha)
-
Wow thanks everyone for your help and input. I do weigh/measure things. I dont weight my banana - but i do put my pb in a tablespoon and scrap off the excess. I do weight my chicken/sweet potato ect... at this point I have no problem depriving myself. ] But Ill also note that I am so hungry all the time. I dont mean "oh i…

Oh god no! Haha woopse. I ran it averaging 6:30/mi that comes to about a little less than 11 miles lol. My bad.
-
are calipers easy to use? Ive never used/seen them
-
Wow I didn't think of that. Maybe I should get my metabolism re-tested. interesting!

I am not trying to argue or prove them wrong. I am just adding more information as not everyone can get the whole picture from just a food diary/not the same athletic background as that changes things and can make some suggestions actually wrong. I am weeding out the suggestions I know are incorrect and finding the ones…

ok. I am very convinced that my numbers on exercise are right or under what I am actually burning. I think what Ill try (as per some great suggestions!) is to be SPOT ON with my calories this week. Ill eat exactly 1300-1550 everyday and will weigh my bananas/ect… Ill also cut out 1 tbs of nut butters. (I wanna cry at the…

oh and 16% body fat is on the higher end for triathlete females (serious triathletes…professional and world champion ect..) typically they are anywhere form 12-17%

I get my calories burn from research on athletes. My run is calculated by distance. Runners world did an article on studies on runners and what they actually burn. They find that runners burn anywhere form 80-120 calories a mile. To be safe I say I burn 80 calories a mile. My bike is based on my Garmin HR monitor. The swim…

I purposefully already underestimate my exercise calories to make up for some calories deficients throughout the day. Like if i have a larger banana or whatever. also everyone is saying that I have a razor thin magian of error - not true? I have a 500 calories deficient. My maintenance is 2000 calories a day and I'm…
-
just FYI 900 calories on a 70 minute run is low. I ran 12 miles in 70 minutes. Thats a higher HR and effort than joe schmo running for 70 minutes.
-
but I rarely go over by more than 50 calories. 2 times last week i went over by 200 because i was starving. 200 over puts me still at negative 300 calories for that day….i should still be losing and i def should be eating my exercise cals
-
good to know! I don't feel as bad then haha
-
Depression really gets in the way of weight loss. I know first hand. It makes you want to stay in bed all day and hide from everything. BUT you know what helps with depression? Is exercise and eating healthy. It really worked for me and sometimes you just need to put your big panties on and do whats good for you although…
-
that seems too good to be true! Is it really accurate? Has it worked for you? I think im undereatting...but its so hard to tell!! If it rerally works Id totally want one.
-
wait. why 900 and not eat back the 1800?
-
Good point!
-
yes. its all swimming intervals, running (tempo runs, HIIT, intervals, easy runs), biking intervals and long easy rides....I get 1 day off every 2 weeks for my training.
-
OK! Let me address some things on here. I am 5'5''. so 3dogsrunning...I felt I wasn't far off my TDEE? I guess I might be! I had my metabolism tested a year ago but that was before my intense training. maybe I should reevaluate! KatrinaWilke and _Randy_: No need to be mean on here guys! Isn't there enough cruelty on the…

I will check out that group!! Thank you!! Also-you can find my recipie (I also add 4oz of grilled chicken breast to the salad) on my blog findingtheskinnygirlwithin.tumblr.com in the things I eat page at the top of the page! I make 4 servings at once which comes to about 400 calories.
-
Hahahaha this made me laugh. You're right....7pm gu is hard key a snack. I think I'll plan to eat 200-300 calories more the next couple days and plan a good snack before bed full of protein.
