  • That is exactly what my problem is... I graze and then my grazing is not the best choices.
  • @Aztec4Life @gastronome89 studies show sugar is more addictive than cocaine.... crazy to believe. I think that is why I have regained 20lbs after being 2.5 yrs out. (3yrs now) still carrying those extra 20. I have reincorporated some sugar and carbs. Now I am having such a HARD time kicking that, the cravings are horrible.
  • @shonrecio, remember muscle weighs more than fat. So if you are in the gym that often you are probably seeing muscle weight vs. fat and you should start seeing a change in the way your body looks and fits in clothes. Good job being in the gym.... that is what I need to get back into. I will be 3yrs out in on the 26th of…
  • Im right there with you. Been away from this board for a while now but after being 2 1/2 years out and gaining 20lbs over the past 8 months it time for me to get back on board. I kept asking myself what am I doing different.... and I feel like nothing is different, except sweet tea here and there, frozen coke here and…
  • Premier Protein bars and shakes are my favorite!
  • I started losing mine in after 3mths. Its not been 3 more months and still losing, however I do think it is lightening up some. So I am hoping with will stop completely in the next month or so. I am like you and have real thin hair anyways and can see a difference (not bad) in my part. I do not blow dry it, and staying…

  • ABSOLUTELY worth it. I am 5'7" also, and was 254 prior to surgery. It was a constant roller coaster for me. I am SO happy, I didn't change my mind prior. This is a very good tool to have on your side. Don't give up now.
  • Head Hunger.... an evil thing. My surgery was Feb. 27 and I still battle with that. It is somewhat depressing to me knowing that I cant eat all that good food. I like food, but I have to remind myself that is what got me where I am. Eating, just to be eating. I have to look ahead and the payoff that is coming. Good luck…
  • This sounds great, bc wings was one thing I was going to miss!
  • Thanks for advise.. just experiencing some mild headaches, but I was expecting this. I knew the first several days were going to be a doozie. I just keep looking ahead.
  • Hi Patty, I'm scheduled 2/27 and looking for the same. Im 42 from Georgia. I love reading about others success and cant wait for mine. Feel free to add me if you like, we can go through this journey together. Everyone seems very truthful and genuine on here with lots of advise.
  • Ha, I actually considering not telling her either. But I knew that God forbid and something go wrong she would absolutely be so upset I didn't share this with her. Plus I needed her to help with childcare.:-)
  • Thanks for your input, and you said exactly what she did. Good addiction and dealing with that without surgery and make the commitment for change. I have before made that commitment but I always self destruct. I know life changes have to be made and I'm good with that. I see it as a restrictive tool only.
  • Me too.. I'm scheduled for 2/27. So looking forward to this journey. Good luck to you!
  • WOW.. Thank you everyone for the support. I have never reached out to a message board for support. It's extremely important for me to hear words of encouragement from someone that had been through the procedure. B/C I don't know anyone personally that has had it. I truly feel comfortable with my decision and know this is…
