  • I work on a military base as a civilian. I get to use the gym on base for free. They have a pool, spin room, indoor track and offer other classes like yoga, kickboxing etc. They also have a large weight room with plenty of free weights and cardio machines.

  • I concur with getting a good pair of running shoes. I also suggest going to a store that specializes in running shoes, where you can get fitted properly for a pair of shoes.

  • I won't be doing the exercise today. I'm sore from the spartacus workout I did yesterday and I also have my karate class tonight. I will do the ab part of this workout before my karate class though. I really enjoyed the spartacus workout, it is similar to the dumbell challenge.

  • I'm happy to say that I have been doing well these past 2 wks. The last cardio challenge that I signed up for I did not complete. I have been sticking to the diet and I have not had any cheat days and I did skip one exercise day. I do plan to have some wine on my Bday. Come on week 3
  • You should try it its a great cardio workout. You will have to get to class early to have the instructor set up your bike for you and you are your own coach, so go at your pace and don't worry about keeping up with the instructor or the other people in the class.

  • I prepared my meal today before I went to bed and it contains salt, but that is the only white item. In addition to the other rules for the cardio challenge, I have also given up meat, sugar and dairy. For me cardio, I plan to go to spin class this evening.

  • I'm 31 will be 32 next month. I have to get out of the habit of eating like I'm still 23, the weight does not come off as fast, lol.
  • I will be able to do this, all I drink is water and tea. Instead of my usu mint tea, I will drink green tea today. I don't sweeten my tea, I drink it straight, lol.

  • Yes, it is in your head. I'm 5'2" and I can run a 5K in under 24 minutes, which is about 7 mph. I constantly pass people who are much taller than me.
