I'm in for 90 miles. I usually average about 75 but I want to push myself a bit.

I used to have this problem. I switched to a really firm mattress and that was the biggest help. But, I also think you may need to focus on core exercises to strengthen your abs and support your back. Physical therapy is expensive, but I went for one session so that I could get a list of approved exercises and they also…

I did really well staying active this week until yesterday. The 9 hour drive home did me in. (my son is in school and I made the trip on my own). Anyway, after I finally arrrived home, I climbed into bed and ignored all forms of exercise. I'll be back to it tonight though. I'm really proud of you guys that are sticking to…

I fit in a quick 30 minite walk.

You are killing this TSP. I hear you Ana. It's hard to exercise everyday! Especially with 12 hours shifts looming. I'm struggling though with my fitness regimen and it's probably the most important part of this lifestyle change. I'm really glad you suggested this. So get to it! :-).

Susie, You truely have my sympathies. My mouth is still unhappy with these temporary crowns! We all know you can kill it, but this challenge is about doing something everyday. Well done!

Got a high five on myfit bit today. 30 minutes on the elliptical and 4.4 miles logged today so far. Everyone is doing great so far!

This is great! I need the accountability. I'll be traveling next week, so don't give up on me. I'm visiting family who don't have internet. Can you imagine?? Regardless, I'm looking forward to upping my activity again. I just bought my fitbit today too, so I'm hoping this and the fitbit will be the push I need to get back…

I agree with everyone to a degree. I only takes me 6-7 days of abstinance to curb my cravings. However, I still enjoy something sweet and it is my aim to make a healthy lifestyle change- not just lose some weight. So I do eat a lot of melons, plums, greek yogurt, etc to satisfy the sweet need.

I've done some research into hypothyroidism. From what I understand, not only does your thyroid work better when you exercise, but your cells are also more receptive to the hormones when you exercise. I think it's way more likely that exercise is helping your thyroid work more efficiently. My thyroid function was always on…

Still going..... :-)

Officially in the blue. I knew when making this goal that I could do better. But I wanted to set a goal that I knew I could maintain long term. I'm pretty pleased that I met my goal early without stressing over it.

"I bought some PGX granules after seeing it on Dr Oz (his gorgeous wife uses it). It's pretty effective: a tasteless fiber that expands in your stomach with no calories. A serving feels like the equivilant of eating 2 pieces of bread." Fiber is always a good suggestion. I need to purchase some. I've been struggling this…

Way to see the bright side Dinos :-)

Impressive. You should be so proud!

I bought a hybrid and I love it. It's light weight, but the flat handlebar is so much more comfortable than a typical roadbike. As a girl, I love that it's easy to lift onto my bike rack and transports easily. Plus it's fast. :-). That said, the skinny tires are rough on mountain trails, so you have to be sure you really…

I did a ton of research, then went to a specialty store and tried them out. My advice: invest in the most you can afford. You won't regret it. It makes a world of difference to have a good quality bike.

I'm in.

I literally laughed out loud!!!!! I think the neighbors heard me. Love this!

No one really talks about "feeling well." Maybe it's assumed that we are dieting and supposed to feel like crap. I listen to my body. Somedays I'm hungry and fatigued. Feeling good and getting more fit is important to me. I eat more on the days I'm lacking energy so I can maintain my workouts. I also look at the reports…

I replaced sugar with fruit. Cantaloupe and watermelon are my favorites go-to's when I'm really craving sweet. But I also like greek yogurt for a healthier sweet snack. Hope this helps.
