lol and you'll look great in that dress! B) Let's say mine is: I want to look good during job interviews if/when I need to look for a new job! I'm in a great position rn, and not looking at all, and i don't "think" i will be looking soon, but for once i'd like to look good and confident during a round of job interviews! I…

Great mindset! I'm 36 this month, I've started mfp (once again) in March 2023 and I have a LOT to lose. i'm going slow but I try to exercize every day and i refuse to starve myself or even just only eat "sad" foods. I've lost 16.5kg so far, but I have a long way to go still. You can do it!! Good luck x

haha, I could have written that word for word, I understand you so much!!

Super basic: my vanilla latte in the morning, it's just a comfort at this point.

You are doing so so good!! Congrats
-
Good luck, you can do it! Take it one day at a time.

Congrats!! That's awesome!

You look great!! Well done, you are really doing it :)) (I started in April too)

Welcome back! I know this all too well too, i've been at this on and off for years but i've had some wake up calls (health-wise) lately so i've been back since April this year. I'm going slow (goal: 250g loss each week), i just want to lose consistently and eat better in general (+ exercize a bit). You can do it too! Feel…

Hi! I don't add many people on here but i was reading through the forums and stumbled onto your post. I'm 35 too, female, i've been at it a few times already, and lost quite a lot but then life happened, i stopped and gained it all back (+ a few extras...). However, this time i'm really doing it for health purposes, i…

I do a bit of pre-logging and logging as I go. On days when I work onsite in the city, I pre-log my breakfast and my dinner (that I make in advance with what i have on hand) and i see how many cals i have left over to eat with my colleagues at lunch so that i can make good choices. When I work from home or during my days…

the cutest!! <3

Good luck with everything in general and everything on here. You can do it! Sending positive thoughts your way. You're a strong woman.

My first question would be: did you start off by setting up a big loss goal per week (then MFP would have automatically put your cal goal at 1,200 a day)? If you're starting out and your goal is to ambitious, especially if you do not eat back part of your exercise calories, it would make sense that you're always hungry,…

Sounds pretty similar to me, I'll add you!

So I'm probably a heathen but I love my morning coffee from Pret a Manger. I ask for a vanilla latte with coconut milk. Yeah, I'm that basic >:)
-
I'm doing it too, only half the week too as I read it's more beneficial that way for women (while men can do IF every day if they want). Good luck with IF!

Honestly, you lose weight by eating less calories than you burn, but which one is more "doable" just depends on personal preference :) For instance, I cannot do keto, I need fruits and my vanilla latte in the morning to be happy. But I do count calories and try to stay under my sugar limit each day. Good luck with whatever…

You look great! Congrats on the weightloss!

Once a month, otherwise I get crazy and obsessive and if I'm disappointed one day, I can't reason with myself and I binge. So yes, only once a month :)
-
Actually I disagree here. I think it all depends on the person. I do way better when I weigh in only once a month. Like the OP, if I weigh every day or even every week and my weight has not moved (which can happen some weeks because of water weight, hormones, etc.) I get frustrated and am way more likely to binge. Also I…
