Just curious, did he give a reason? I just jumped on the Mio/liquid flavoring train. I could never mix the powdered Crystal Light enough. But I also love Diet Coke. I'm not super worried about the long-term effects of aspartame. I figure if it really hurt you, we'd have a bunch of people with Tab disease or something.

It's crazy how different our bodies are built, but it's also insane how different sizing is from one store to the next. There have even been cases where I've been replacing a pair of jeans with the exact same brand, style, cut and color, and have had to switch sizes. I just had this breakthrough recently where I don't care…

Polar makes pretty good ones. I have an FT4 I got for about $50 on Amazon. ETA: It tracks your calorie burn and heart rate, and it tracks your history. http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Heart-Rate-Monitor-Purple/dp/B005M1P85O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399577592&sr=8-1&keywords=polar+ft4

You can try decaf coffee. It still has caffeine, but much less than regular coffee. A 16-oz. drip coffee has about 100-120mg of caffeine, whereas a decaf 16-oz. has about 10-12mg of caffeine.

Then you have already fit dessert into your diet, and you haven't cut out the processed junk and sugar.

Celiac's is rare. Gluten sensitivity is not the same thing as Celiac's. Talk to your doctor.

I got super-hungry with Insanity, but using my HRM, I discovered I was burning about 200-250 cals per workout, which is not nearly as much as I felt like I was burning. :/ I ate about 1750-1800 on workout days.

I feel you. I'm 15.5" and can never get good boots unless they're elastic on the back or wide-calf styles. :(
-
I do vodka and club soda. It's about 90 kcal per drink, and I consume less volume of liquor than beer or wine. If I need to go over so I can eat, I do, but I'll make up for it by eating 50-100 kcals less for a day or two, or try to get an extra workout in.

I get the urge to eat around 8 or 9, after dinner, also. For me, it's boredom, as so many other people have said. So I get a cup of water or a Diet Coke and drink it while I do something else (manicure, playing a game on my iPad, play with my pups). If I'm still "hungry", I'll take my gummy vitamins and wait a bit. If I'm…

How much are you restricting your calories? Do you get dizzy only after you take your vitamins?

I'm from SF, and there are a lot of healthy options here. A TON of organic places (if you're into that sort of thing) and localvore stuff, if you're in the city. I can't vouch for Bolinas, though. ;)

I read that as Torchwood. Mine were so bad. I had 8 wisdom teeth removed, plus a ninth that was cracked because of the impaction. I was on soft foods for 2 weeks before and 2 months after because my jaw had to be shaved to get some of them out. DO NOT DRINK WITH A STRAW. Stuff like fruit smoothies and milkshakes is good,…

I know I have because I'm buying smaller clothes and the scale is going down and my measurements are decreasing also. But I still don't FEEL smaller.

yup

I've had pretty good results with Insanity. I'm about halfway through my first time, and I'm only doing it about 3 or 4 times a week. I've lost about 6" total so far.

You'll need a heart rate monitor to get a decent estimate. I'm guessing a 10-minute bodyweight workout won't burn many, though.

This is an awesome question, and maybe I'll see if I can write a script that calculates that, just for funsies.

Also, unless you're 100% sure that the "Generic" entries match your meal, I would stay away from them and create your own recipes in MFP to use. The "Generic" and "Homemade" entries from other users can be really different from what you're eating.

This is not meant in a mean way, I promise, but she's right. I carry most of my extra weight in my belly and thighs. You just gotta keep going. Eat at a deficit, maybe lift weights for some body recomposition. Measure and track what you eat honestly. Also, maybe get the STD tests she recommends, just in case -- make sure…
-
It's certainly not bad for you. I did it twice, and I lost a total of about 13 inches combined, but not a lot of pounds. If you like it, do it.

This is pretty accurate, at least compared to what my HRM calculated for me. http://www.calories-burned.buddyslim.com/jillian-michaels-30-day-shred/

H&M is pretty good, actually, if I'm shopping in womens instead of juniors. I do have to size up from my expected size in the juniors department. The mens section might be the same. The boy has had good luck at Nordstrom with their store brand, especially the dress shirts. Added bonus: they have wrinkle-free dress shirts…

When was the last time you recalculated your stats with your current weight? Maybe try that and see if you get a new calorie goal.

SUPPOSEDLY, there is a waist and inseam measurement that correlates to womens sizes. 12 = 32" waist; 10 = 31" waist, etc. A standard inseam for women is 31"-32", with petite being shorter and tall being longer. But the boy and I have found the same issues with mens clothes that I have with womens: the cut and style…

I looked over the last week, and when you did log, you went over your calories by a considerable amount. I'm willing to bet it's the same on the days you don't log. Like other people suggested, I would get a food scale. Then you can log more precisely and maybe more consistently, too.

Is it still Paleo if I add Mio to it?

I don't see anyone being rude or making fun. I see a lot of taco talk and now I'm hungry.
