Oh, they smell just awful!!!! I tried them, and they taste just FINE...but I couldn't get past the smell, kept triggering the gag reflex. They're not for me. :-(

My brother and his fiancé swear by it...but I've not tried it. They are both smaller though!

I also had to google search to figure out what NSV was...apparently a "Non-Scale Victory" Also, 30 Day Shred is a Jillian Michaels workout DVD :-) But I agree...I keep getting hung up on abbreviations too!!!

I've done week 1 twice. My legs went numb when I tried week 2 the first time, so I did week 1 again. Going to try week 2 again tomorrow.

Just for the record...as I said, I had the same problem...but I didn't stop strength training. I kept it up and my arms got smaller/ more defined. Please don't listen to people saying to stop strength training...it's important. Both the cardio and the strength training are important. I'm glad you posted the question…

This happened to me. But I think maybe the arms aren't actually getting bigger...they just look it. Maybe because as the fat disappears the extra skin sags more? Keep going...it resolved itself with me. Arms look smaller now. I think they're going to take the most work with me though. good luck!

I can do wall pushups no problem. I don't feel challenged. Counter pushups will start to get challenging after 20 or so...

Thanks for all the responses. Just tried doing some pushups with closed fists, keeping wrists straight. Didn't hurt my wrists! Didn't feel too great on my knuckles, but just discomfort, nothing major. Will try using weights or getting pushup handles to ease that discomfort. Thanks everyone!

Maybe it is weak wrists....crab crawls hurt them too, but I don't care too much for them so I just skip them. I don't want to skip pushups though... :-(

My doc only tells me to stay off of it for a while after injuring it....wont/cant tell me how to prevent the injury to start with!

I need new friends to help me out too! I lost about 40lbs before joining MFP...so my ticker says 0lbs...but really it's 40 so far! 50ish more to go! **edit---figured out how to adjust my ticker to the weight I originally started out at. :-)

Hey I'm Amanda...I have an almost 5 year old and a 7m old. Seperated from my husband.... I've lost about 40lbs prior to signing up for MFP... have 50ish to go. Would gladly take on some friends for motivation!!! :-)

I'm still trying to lose weight....but I can tell you that EVERYONE needs cardio. You'll have to up your calories to prevent weight loss while doing cardio...but cardio is for your HEART, not just weight loss. I plan on doing some form of cardio and strength training for the rest of my life...not just while losing weight.…
