You've got this! Started my 'official' journey December 2021. Down about 82lbs and have 70lbs to go. Please feel free to add me.

I would love to do this, although, what I am nervous about is 1.5 hours of working out a day. I hate failing at something and know my limits.

You're not going to look like a dummy trying things out at your gym...I can totally relate with that feeling... I used to hate walking/running INDOORS on a treadmill -- just something about being in the same place and going nowhere. I love the outdoors. I'm not a runner by any means...it's probably the workout that I hate…

While I am committing to 180 minutes a week, this journey is all about me getting back into a fitness routine. I competed in my…

Hi there, Lindsey... Here is how I incorporated my splurge points into my caloric intake - I manually adjusted my goals. Roughly 1WW point is 50 calories - so I took how many points I can eat within a day & multiplied that by 50 calories. For the 'splurge' calories, I did the same calculation - 35 splurge (bonus) points *…

Hi! I'm doing my first EVER triathlon on August 4th. I really started training for it about 2.5 weeks ago & struggle every day with is that enough training time. A little background - I just moved from the East Coast (NJ) to Colorado towards the end of May. Within two weeks of starting my new job, a co-worker asked if I…

Hi - Here is my secret - when playing a round of golf (approx. 4 hours) I can burn upwards to 1500 cals; swimming laps for about 90 minutes would also put me over 1000 cals; biking for an hour and a half would put me over the mark, as well. I rely on my HRM for my caloric burn. The database & the equipment at the gym have…

I'm down for that!! Pretty cool idea :)

I tend to weigh all my food before cooking it, although, ALSO weight it after. Here is a great example - I make a box of ziti for the family. On the side of the box, it tells you how many "dry" portions there are, although, I weight it again after to make sure that I can divide the total cooked weight by the serving size…

i'm up for the challenge too!! Let's rock the month of June!

Swimming...It's a full body workout!! I can totally relate with knee injuries ((was a competitive athlete from grade school thru college)). I can't do squats/lunges either, so I started doing Reformer Pilates, to strengthen/stretch my muscles. Been practicing for the past three months and haven't felt this great in a long…

Thank you so much for posting this!! I greatly appreciate it. I've had problems with my knees, since I was a competitive swimmer in high school. Over the years, I would notice pain while performing various activities (skiing, hiking, golfing, etc), and just wrote it off as 'getting older'. It got to the point of being…
