  • Day 19 done.... I am SO glad we only have 2 days of level 2 left! I have done the shred before though and I remember the plyometrics in level 3 kick my butt, but I'm also so over level 2! Planked out!
  • Well I did Level 2 twice today, once this morning and once just now, to catch up from being gone. Excited to see results on day 30! Glad for everyone who is working hard, no matter what level or what day! Keep it up!
  • Sorry I was M.I.A. for a few days. We had some family time and we unplugged. I'm still trucking away with our challenge:) Glad to see the regulars are still checking in!
  • Day 12 done! I agree it is a lot of shoulders especially! Also so many plank moves... I would love if those were spread out over the three levels instead of all of them in level 2!

  • Day 10 done! Ready for Level 2 tomorrow. Way to go everyone with working on doing your best with each move! I've started to tune out too. I might be "phoning it in" when I do that and we know Jillian doesn't want that! HA!

  • Day 8 done! I would love to have Jillian in my living room. We're the same height and I think it would be crazy to meet her eye to eye! I've heard Insanity is awesome. Great to make plans for after the shred. I'm thinking of doing either Jillian's 6 week 6 pack or 30 days ripped.

  • Day 7 done! Weighing and taking measurements on Wednesday is a good idea. I think I will too to check in for how things are after each level.

  • Day 6 done! I love Groundhog's Day. Bill Murray cracks me up! Another oldie but good from him is What About Bob?! They talk about baby steps in that movie and I always think that's what my path to a healthy lifestyle is: baby steps. :) Keep up the good work Shredders!
  • Day five done! Halfway through level one! YAY! I'm really trying to work on my form with every move so I get the most for my 20 minutes of intensity! :)
  • Day 4 done! Played music instead of listening to Jillian's comments. That worked pretty well except during push-ups when I can't hear the cue to move on and I'm not looking at the screen. I was thinking how we'll be halfway done with level 1 tomorrow too! YAY!

  • Day 3 Done! I think I'm going to try 5 lbs for everything except those lateral raises with the side lunge. I think I've memorized everything she says! All those little comments like "They don't even cheat when I'm up here not looking."
  • I would encourage you to try level 2. I've done the shred before and each level is harder, but there is the modified version on each level. You could finish it up and go back to the beginning and try all the levels without modification then. Just a thought.
  • Day 2 Done! I'm thinking of upping my weights. I know she says 3 lbs weights are all you need, but I'm not struggling to lift them. My arms are only sore from the push ups! :)

  • Thanks for all the helpful responses. Lots of good ideas!!! No, my trainer is not a nutritionist or a registered dietitian. It's part of a 6 week boot-camp-type program. We have a different nutrition focus each week and this low carb one threw me for a loop b/c we are still supposed to get 25 g of fiber/day. Thanks again:)
