  • Ahh that's made me feel better then, was a bit disheartening after every class!!
  • I'm beginning to think mines a load of rubbish, either that or the class instructors are lying. I go to a kettle bell class twice a week and at the end the instructor always says .. you would have burned between 800-1200 cals depending on what weight you used. I always use a 8kg for an hours long class .. work my butt off…
  • 200 is low. I do an hour session and burn around 500 cals. Using 6kg for mat exercises and 12kg for swings, squats, etc.
  • I was just about to post a topic myself. I always get my chicken from a butchers but plain .. the other day he asked did i want any flavouring so for a change i had my 8 chicken breasts in a Chinese chicken seasoning. They taste so much nicer but was wondering how many extra calories i was adding to my meal.

  • I've used her products. I used the neptox which was the biggest waste of money EVER and i've used two tubs of the semtex. I didn't lose any weight or body fat on them mind. They just gave me a little more energy (nothing major) and made me sweat 10x more than normal.

  • I use Maxi tone. Have done for weight loss ... waste of money (in my opinion) .. Now i've started using the toning one, so far so good.

  • I love porridge and oats so i thought it would taste the same just nicer as its got the added fruit. Just about to google a recipe to make something out of it instead. Thank you for the replies :) Also i'm not to sure, it was a gluten free wholefoods one from Holland and Barrett :)

  • YES !! i did this diet .. it was called the heart foundation diet when i googled it. ... I put myself in hospital !! enough said. dangerous.
  • Do any of you know any cheap websites where I can buy cheaper gluten free foods? ... I find it soooo expensive to shop in my local supermarkets for gluten free products. E.g. £3 for a box of cereal or a loaf of bread. I think its stupid to have to pay extra for something that is uncontrollable.
  • Chicken chow mein (that's what I've been told anyways) .. if i have a chinese I just go full out and use it as my cheat day :)
  • Thank you for all your replies. I haven't heard of any of the brands mentioned but then again I don't suppose I've looked for them before. I will eventually get real medical advice but for now I want to give it up just to see if it is the trigger, at least i have narrowed the search down then :)

  • Oh okay. I thought the more you sweat the harder your working and the more calories/fat you burn. This really is a relief as sometimes i'm pushing myself so hard, think i'm doing well and then the person by me is sweating loads and I feel like I've done hardly anything.   • could you ask the trainer/instructor ? i had to do the same recently with my boot camps .. i thought i was only burning 250 calories an hour but to my surprise it was a good 550-600 :) ... unless its not an instructing thing then i have no idea. sorry.
  • 2 months ago i could easily drink 12 small bottles of water a day but I was constantly going to the toilet. Now i drink about 6/7 bottles a day (including a bottle i go through at bedtime) plus green tea (about 2/3 mugs a day)
  • That is amazing well done :) I'm going to just use my shake now if i'm in a rush and haven't got time for food, then that way at least i'm having something.

  • Thank you everyone for all your replies. I think it's safe to say that I will be ditching the herbalife. A bit gutted because it did cost a lot so that will be money wasted but I really want to lose 7lb. As for my calorie intake, i know that i am no where near my calorie intake each day lately. i struggle to eat 1400 a day…
