Maxitone help!

Heya all,
I have just joined MFP The meal I struggle with the most is breakfast as I either have work stupidly early, or I feel as though I am not full most of the time.
I have checked out Maxitone on their website and to me it looks great. Has anyone else tried it? I am aiming to loose some weight so I am guessing the sculptress would be the range for me. I work out about 4 times a week too - swimming and classes, plus I would like to start running. Has Maxitone aided anyone in loosing weight/Is it ideal for breakfast if you are on the go?
Thanks all x

It is very expensive, when you can order better, less expensive products online, if a protein supplement is what you are after...or even in some supermarkets (not sure where you live) or health food outlets.0

I use Maxi tone. Have done for weight loss ... waste of money (in my opinion) .. Now i've started using the toning one, so far so good.0

Whey protein is a great convenient source of protein but you can buy it so much cheaper than Maximuscle. You can add in the supplements that are have scientifically proven to work cheaper than you can buy their products too. There is a small increase in calorie burn from green tea extract, a small improvement in body composition from CLA but TBH you can get the same effects from drinking strong green tea/ taking a capsule, eating more oily fish (long chain omega-3s) or taking a triple strength DHA/ EPA capsule plus your three portions of reduced fat dairy per day (calcium). Also be sure to check the 'dose' in the product against the published research, generally there is not enough to make any difference in one serving of one product.
Really these products should be used as a supplement to a balanced diet not a meal replacement - you are unlikely to hit nine servings a day of fruits and veggies if you don't start with breakfast. If you prefer a drink get a stick blender with its own lidded cup for a DIY 'take out' - make a smoothie literally in one minute from frozen berries, frozen or fresh veggies, canned or fresh fruit plus generic whey protein powder, milk or plain yoghurt.0 -
Maximuscle is a rip off and the special ladies range is just ridiculous in it's entire concept.
If you want a protein powder (which you don't need btw) then get one that has the nutrients you need to supplement in order to hit your nutrient goals. All the other stuff they add has no effect other than increasing the price.0
