  • Smash Mouth I'm a Believer. Heard it first in Shrek. I use this at the end of my workout to re-energize. Jane
  • My printer. Ooh, I know, I'll mesmerize them by printing something! More papercuts? If we band together....
  • I've been taking Gilenya since May of last year. It's been so easy! No flu side effects like Rebif, and no side effects like Copaxone where I didn't know if my lungs would tighten up and I wouldn't be able to breath and then have violent chills for 2 hours. (I felt like I was spinning the roulette wheel every time I took…
  • In addition to pepper spray, wear some kind of light colored clothing. Over and over people are walking in our neighborhood at night in all black and they assume I'll see them and stop. It's not always easy when you're driving around a corner to see the pedestrians that are crossing the street (against the light!).
  • We've been working through Homeland season 1.
  • Wow, I want to look like you some day! Jane
  • bump, this is freakin amazing!
  • I was disappointed that one of the contestants had wanted to lose weight for 2 years, and only started once he was on the show. PUT DOWN THE FORK! FOOD DOES NOT HAVE TO BE YOUR LIFE! I was also peeved that Jillian was so hard on the girl and she ended up quitting. That just didn't seem necessary. My favorite part is at the…
  • I was hoping to go on Tsabri because I hear it gives you lots of energy. I didn't qualify because I carry the JC Virus (lots of people do). I've switched meds 3 times due to insurance issues and/or side effects, and each time I had a light relapse exactly 3 months after stopping the old medicine. By the third time I was…
  • Hi, I've been on Gilenya since May, and everything is going fine. I feel pretty much normal, haven't had any side effects. Since I was diagnosed in 2008, my only attacks have been a result of changing medications. (about 3 months later, when the old one wears off, I have had an attack each time) The testing was annoying,…
  • WOW, your before picture in the white tank top looks just like me and my friends. I'm so inspired by your accomplishment, I'm about to cry, sitting here looking at your pictures. You've really transformed yourself, and it really is possible. Thank you for sharing, Jane
  • I wonder about that too. When I was in high school and college, my clothing size "matched" my weight. I'm 5'9, and when I was 140, I wore a 14, and when I was 160, I wore a 16. Now it sounds like people that weigh 150 are wearing 10s and 8s? I realize they are more toned than I was, but what's up with that?

  • Thanks! You look fabulous! Jane
  • I've been so scared since the Kevin Smith (I don't think I got his name right) too fat to fly thing with Southwest Airlines. My company is based in Europe, and we go over once in a while for seminars. I don't want to be kicked off in front of my coworkers. Also, at the waterparks the weight limit for the cool slides is…
  • Wow, you look amazing! You're giving me hope it's really possible!
  • Yustick, Missy, Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. In my 20s I did a lot of self talk to help feeling better about myself, so I want to be careful as I work to lose weight that I'm not calling myself down all the time, while creating a slimmer, healthier me. Veggies/Water/Veggies/Water! Jane
  • Whew, I thought you were purging Floridians
  • I want to be in too! I want to walk 4 days this week. Monday, I walked on the treadmill, so 3 more days to go. I think I'm going to sign up for one of these 3 day Challenge Walks, to support Multple Sclerosis. I have to get off my duff and start training! The walk is March 1-3, so it's kinda, sorta do-able in this time…
  • I've been stuck at 300 / 299 for weeks. At first the weight dropped off, now I'm doing the same things, but with no results. I decided going into this that it is a lifestyle change, not a sprint where I would end up regaining it all back. Are you fitting in smaller clothes? That's a motivator when the scale isn't doing…
  • I've been losing so sloooooowwwwwly, but my pants have been getting looser. This morning, I thought I would try some old pants that had grown too snug, and are a size smaller, AND THEY FIT!! 13 pounds does make a difference.
  • I'm newish, and I friended a few people. The posts that come across are things like, "so and so has logged in for x days in a row", or "so and so was under their calorie goal". When I posted that I was excited to be under 300 for the first time in years, no one responded. I felt gypped, and wondered why I had signed up to…

  • You look fantastic! Way to go!!!!
  • OMG, that's terrific! :flowerforyou:
  • Hi, Count me in. I started a month ago, lost 10 pounds and have regained 3. Until I was 31 I gained 10 pounds a year. Since then I've sat at this weight for 16 years. I need to lose 160 or so, and I'm getting back on track again this week. I'll send you a friend request. Jane
  • I look at my treadmill. Lately by the time I get home, walk the dog, make dinner and help the hubby, I'm spent. My best time of day is around 10 am when I'm at my desk. Gotta start at least using the treadmill on the weekends :-) I'm in South Florida, and the heat is crazy right now. To get to my office, we have to take…
