  • I just tracked my calorie burn from my fitbit and manually entered it. I normally would skip it but since im in a MFP challenge I just plug it in. But i have the feature turned off that puts the calories back into my day
  • I was stuck in a plateau for a very long time (still am as far as I know..) since the scale was stressing me out so bad I focused on things I knew would help me get towards my goal. I meal prepped, only ate on plan, worked out 5x weekly. I actually hid my scale until March. I am hoping to see a loss but at least if I dont…
  • Always looking for more pals for this journey!
  • Looks like we have similar goals as far as nutrition goes. Im also working on getting my lifestyle coaching certification so I am always looking for ways to help :)
  • As much as I hate mornings I do my work out at 5:30am to get it done then I have my evenings free to do what I want. It was a hard habit to start but now its routine. Also finding an activity you actually enjoy helps..Its hard to get excited about sit ups and treadmills
  • added!
  • Is there an activity you can do that you actually enjoy? I wasnt a huge fan of going to the gym and I was never motivated to do home workouts but once i found crossfit i ALWAYS look forward to going. Just have to find what gets you excited
  • I have the goal to lose 38 in 6 months..we have similar goals..lets do this!
  • I am always looking for pals to share the journey with! ive lost 32 and looking to lose 38 more. I actually start my health coach certification next week so im always looking for ideas of what people are looking for :)
  • I love these shows - and also am a trained chef! You may think you cant eat those things but theres totally ways to jazz up 'healthy' food to where you think youre eating from a fancy restaurant! I have started some cooking videos and plan to start doing at least one a week! my blog is piggytummy.com if you wanted recipe…
  • I will be 30 next week! I have 38lbs left to lose..already lost 32 :)
  • http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/calorie-calculator/itt-20084939 this calorie calculator is pretty spot in if youre honest with the whole activity level. I used this when I started out and then I got a hydrostatic weigh in test that gave me the most accurate calorie intake…
  • Do you do a food journal? Wasnt sure if it was just hidden or not. Did these jeans fit well prior to todays trying on? I know that I have a ton of jeans in multiple sizes and sometimes ill grab one that isnt the best fit and i know the feeling of frustration. Also to agree with the previous statement how soon you started…
  • Forgiveness is key if youre going to be successful! Welcome to MFP :)
  • welcome to MFP! love the positive attitude! Add me if youre lookin for active mfp pals :)
  • Ive lost 32 and its the farthest I have ever gotten and I have been doing the same thing. I noticed that the longer I put off giving into temptation the better choices I make. For example, last night I was really emotional and had a bad day. All i wanted was to curl up with a french baguette and some dip! So I kept putting…
  • I recently went to medieval times and I almost went for the vegetarian meal but when I weighed out the options it seemed the calories and fat were pretty close to eachother. I did go for the real meal but I tried to be more mindful. I took the skin off the chicken, gave the rib to my boyfriend etc. Goodluck!
  • Im a chef and LOVE sharing recipes with people :) I am not a vegetarian but I strive to eat more fish and veggies over meat, so im sure id have some ideas to swap with you :)
  • I agree with Wendy on her points of making sure youre not over-doing it too quickly. I have a knee problem as well and im 189lbs, its something youll have to find the right exercises that wont make it hurt too bad. I wince if Im told to do lunges! Just keep at it and know that the smaller you get, the less it will hurt.
  • If you havent been doing too much as far as exercise goes its not as vital to get every single calorie in. If you start to up your activity youll probably most likely be hungry and end up fulfilling your calorie goals.
  • I learn new and seemingly stupid things everyday on this journey..apparently those people were just born fitness gurus...
  • haha i just need more pals!
