  • Thanks guys!
  • I've been debating seeing a dietician as well! Certainly can't hurt. I had myself knocked down to 1500 calories a day and gained 3 pounds. My sister said maybe it was too low so I raised it to 1730 and boom, I start seeing results. Totally counter-intuitive, but I guess it just wasn't the right chemistry for my body. So…
  • I use a polar ft7 to keep track of my exercise and LOVE IT.
  • My longest period to date was 36 days and it was hell. I tried staying off the pill but my body could just never figure it out and I got tired of it. The only time I've been off since was to get pregnant. If you've gone a long time without a period your body might just be taking the extra tube to shed all the lining.…
  • Request coming over! :-)
  • You're definitely not alone! It's such a huge frustration. I once had a doctor say to me, "you'll have to work twice as hard, twice as long, for half the result of a normal person" (nice motivation, eh?). But in a little over a month I've lost 6 pounds. It's more then I've lost in years. I seem to finally have found the…
  • The gym I go to has a biggest loser competition right now. Every time you come in, you earn a point, every time you lose a pound or a percent of body fat you get a point, Meet with a trainer to get your weight and measurements, get a point, Take a group class and get a point. For every 10 points you get a free one on one…
  • So sorry I've forgot to reply! I went to the gym and its been great! Everyone there is so nice and honestly I feel comfortable when I go in. Love 24 hour fitness! I've gone almost everyday now for the last 3 weeks (on Monday that is) and I'm 5 pounds down! Thanks for all the encouragement, it was really helpful!
  • Yeah I apologize, after searching through the forums more I found an almost identical topic! I went with the FT7. I couldn't find one really bad criticism and it seems to work great in water. I can't wait to get it!
  • Wow, thanks for all the feedback guys, that really helps. I have heard about the vitamin deficiency part and just take a daily vitamin for that. It makes more sense now. Metformin isn't a weight loss tool, but is almost just a side effect of what metformin really does, which is helping your insulin. Am I sort of on track…
  • mznortiz, supernatural and working out- now that's a fabulous idea! Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. It's nice to hear what other gym goers say. I hadn't really considered the fact that if I stay a gym user and healthy eater that eventually I will be the in fit gym user and can give support to someone like me....…
  • I have heard of the appetite suppressant too but it definitely hasn't done that for me yet either! Our of curiosity, what is BID?
