Two favorite teams. The Vikings and anybody playing the Packers! So, go Seattle tomorrow night!

Well, we did elect a professional wrestler to be govenor once. And followed it up with a no funny waste SNL personality as a senator. Oh, and some people say we say "boat" wrong....among other things.

Anybody have the macros for that? I need dinner ideas for tomorrow night!

Speaking of a family that could use MFP. As long as you don't stereotype us Minnesotans, I won't think Georgia is the state of honey....deal?
-
Nice job, that sounds tough.

So, I probably was 218 at one time....sweet!

Down 5.2 this morning. Didn't expect that, but I will take it.

Married with one kid here. I just make it work. You have to make time for yourself. It might be easy for me since I have my own home gym that includes: a hoist half cage (up to 500 pounds of free weight), a bunch of dumbbells, a treadmill, an elliptical and a VKR. So I don't have to go far to workout. BTW, thanks for your…

I have the P90X DVD's. How much different is P90X2? Or maybe you wouldn't know because you haven't done the first one. I suppose there is a thread about that somewhere on here.

Yeah, bodybuilders it's all about TUT (time under tension). So, it's all in the rep range (say 8-12). More isolation lifts in this field as well. Strength comes from much heavier weight and a lower volume (4-6 reps). Weightlifting is more so your Olympic type lifts and powerlifting and it's mainly about lifting the max…

There is a big difference actually. But, I am not going to argue with you. You're huge! And your dog scares the **** out of me.

I love to lift weights. More into strength training over body building thou.

I knew this thread would be a knee slapper. Well done!

Thanks for this recipe! I made them this morning and they turned out great. My wife did not like them, but I think it was because she knew there was cottage cheese in them. And to be honest, "cottage cheese pancakes"? But, they were very good. It's a great base to play with.

Yeah, I knew it was going to take a bit of a hit. I just didn't think it would as drastic so soon. 20 - 25 pounds in a couple weeks caught me off guard.

I haven't taken much time off recently. So, maybe a deload. Although, mentally I am so focused right now and overall my joints feel awesome. It's not an aggressive cut and I am still progressing in my other lifts. I think I will plan a deload in a couple weeks and in he mean time just increase my carbs on bench day to see…

I agree. Obviously compound movements are the best: bench, squats, deads, bent rows etc. I would focus on those lifts and sprinkle an iso in at the end. I typically lift in the 4-6 rep range, so really heavy. Iso lifts in the 8-12 rep range to avoid injury.

It's the only picture I had on my iPad of myself.

Stupid thing says I am morbidly obese. Apparently I should weigh between 130 and 175 pounds, or something like that. I don't think so BMI! Oh, and good job!

I use a polar chest strap and watch. I am a fan of it.

3 months! Wow, great results.
-
Good job!

Lol, love it....krixus. Like from spartacus, only spelled different? I am going to hit you up with a friend request since we have similar interests. And the same goal weight!

Those are from Synthol injections. Google Greg Valentino...hideous.

I just learned how to remove the yolk. Thought I would share if anyone else had problems before. Crack your eggs into a bowl, take an empty water bottle, squeeze the water bottle slightly, place it gently over the yolk and release your squeeze. This will suck up the yolk and only the yolk.

Skol Vikings! Lakeville here...

Let us know if you get your PR. Find your dark place.

Thanks Craig! I stepped it up a few notches tonight on deads for you.

Steve smith is a stud....but Mercy Percy is the best slot receiver in the game right now. Great weekend for me, Iowa state beat Iowa and the Vikings pulled it out. Welcome back A.D., 8 months after an ACL and a MCL....amazing! OH, and the packers lost! Yes!

Awesome story! I got deads tonight....in honor of Craig, I am going to go above and beyond of what I normally do. I am going to go to my dark place and pull the hell out of it!
