Mine was to bench 500....but I tossed that out the window to shape up. So, I want to lose the weight, look better, and maintain a 400+ bench.

Lots of great advice guys. But, has the OP considered yoga? J/K One theory I have that hasn't been brought up...did you strain your muscles in your neck? Maybe from lifting or even sleeping with a bad pillow? Strained neck muscles cause headaches and even nausea at times. All the pressure from lifting will make it even…

"Deloading" is necessary after several weeks/months of hard training to allow your body to recover completely. Many people will actually come back after that week stronger because of it. Your body and CNS will tell you when it's time to take a break. So, I don't plan one.

Yes..take this slow with lighter weight and build up some muscle memory. Form is key on this movement.

I have a hoist half cage ensemble...it's not cheap though. But, it's the best thing I have ever bought.

Nice...it seems miss mollie summed it up nicely. Heavy compound movements are the way to go.

It says I have to move to Tonga and that I am more obese than 95% of the world's population. Stupid game, I'm not playing anymore. I'm going home!

Awesome job!

Every 4 weeks? That doesn't sound right. Stretch it out closer to 8 weeks....or when the body and CNS tells you. And yes, a deload week is important.

Your muscles don't grow while you are working out...they grow thru proper nutrition and rest/recovery. So yes, resting is important. Very important.

Personally, I would say work thru it. I would also advise taking a cold shower after weight training to reduce swelling.

This...plus, your toes should be pointing slightly outward to avoid knee issues. If you are not going all the way down, you are not getting your hammy's involved in the squat. Drop the weight and start doing deep squats until you get stronger.

Depends on your goals. Do you want to bench 400 or just look like you can bench 400? Ultra strict form isn't really natural and really limits the amount of weight you can use. However, it hits the target muscle longer (bigger muscles). Loose form, where you allow your upper body to move is more natural and you can generate…

LOL, I was just coming on here to let you know I made the pumpkin cheesecake last night and just had some a couple hours ago. It turned out great. I am still a fan of the plain cheesecake. Just the way I am, vanilla ice cream is my favorite. But I like the pumpkin one better than the chocolate one I made. Anyway, I put in…

Thank you so much to the OP for the recipe. I have already made two cheesecakes, and they were awesome. I want to make some different ones and was thinking pumpkin. My question: should I just substitute the 6 oz of yogurt for 6 oz of pumpkin? Then I was thinking of tossing in some cinnamon and nutmeg etc. any suggestions?…
