Oh, also! Are you going to be working out alone? I know you've had Type 1 for eleven years, but as a mom, I want to make sure you're always being safe! Do you have someone who can administer glucagon just in case (while you're getting into the swing of things and learning about how your body reacts to a hard workout)?

I would add the calories. Unfortunately, it's just a part of it. Do you have a pump? Can you temp basal before you workout? I know that won't help totally, but maybe it could save a few calories. I feel like I'm skinny fat right now. I'm definitely not overweight, but what's there is fat - not muscle. My good friend is helping me start a lifting program. I hope it works!

I like to record my weight every day. I don't let it stress me out. I just use it as a guideline for the day.

I'm a mom to 2 boys, 8 and 7. I just started the 30-Day Shred yesterday. I like to go to the gym, so my plan is to do the Shred on the days I can't make it there.
