I wasn't a fan. They are ok, but just that. What I like to do is make one whole egg mixed with one egg white for scrambled or omelette. Whole foods taste much better. :)

My epic fail is on the weekends. Sometimes, esp when we have guests. Usually I have a glass of wine or two, but it happened one weekend, I killed a bottle. Then, I started munching on the bowl of doritos. The next day I ate very light and drank lots of water. I had extra water retention for at least 2 more days. I just…

Hello, I am an ''anglo-quebeker" living in Sherbrooke. I get along fine in French, speaking and reading, however my written French is a bit off. I am 40 years old , mom of 2. I have been doing this since February. Add me if you would like. :)

Have you tried freezing them? I am a Girl Guide leader and I usually buy a case for my family but I freeze them and take them out only when I want them. keep very well for the chocolate cravings :) Good job in for not indulging all at once, Keep up the good work!

Also I would suggest to get a food scale (20-25$) and weigh and measure as accurately as possible. I was very surprised to see my assumption was different than the reality. I am better at eyeballing now, but food scale is very useful. Sometimes I am not able to log in right away, so write everything down to log later. You…

I do weigh my food and have been for at least 6 weeks now. I do need in invest in a heart-rate monitor to get more accurate calorie burns. Yes, I am also close to my goal,Yay, but this is the initial 1st small goal (23lbs) I set for myself to see if I could do it. baby steps seem a lot easier next goal would be another 20…

Anglo-Quebecer (Sherbrooke) here (Lol)...I am on here a few times a day. Add me if you want :D

I guess it really depends on your genetics. I have lost 14lbs and my husband says it looks like my boobs have gotten bigger. The reality is that my belly has gotten smaller. so far my bra sized has not changed too much yet.

I have been here for about 2 months. It is a learning process, everyday something new. I realized it is a good investment to have a food scale. You can be more accurate with what you are eating. and have a support network. I seem to get more positive support for my journey here on MPV than anywhere else and so it is…

Yeah, that's is what I have heard too. I was having a bout of wishful thinking to reduce my problem areas first. I will most likely continue with the bike. I find with exercise videos I am not as motivated and I tend to turn them off not long after starting.

I love avacodo, as guac, chopped in a salad, on sandwiches and even as a dressing on pasta salad. Seriously you either love it or not. If not, do not try to force yourself to eat it. Find something else that you will enjoy.

I got a food scale last week, and it is a learning curve. it take me a little longer in food prep but I am getting the hang of it in my routine. Its a good investment.

I totally understand what you are going through. My husband and 2 kids are picky eaters and are each picky with different foods. Example: broccoli, one kid will eat raw, other raw just florlet, hubby steamed only until mushy. Chicken, one only grilled with lemon, other with homemade bbq sauce and hubby with nothing. Even…

Whenever I can....I do at least 30 minute stationary cycle (as much as I hate it) in the afternoon during the kids nap time and then I either go to the gym or a dance class one hour 3-5 evenings a week when hubby is not working overtime. I would love to do morning workouts but I am not about to wake-up at 430am for it.

sounds yummy, gonna try when I get a chance

Thx a bunch, keeping as a reference!

I only have 2 kids (7 and 11) of my own, however I operate a home-based pre-school/daycare so I have 6 additional kids aged 2-4. Keeps me on my toes everyday from 730am-530pm. I understand and empathize becoming fatigued, stressed and demotivated. If you want, you may add me as a friend.

Fabulous! I look forward to following in your footsteps....still a long journey for me by increments.

Feel free to add me as a friend, I am 5'2, started at 173 in January and right now my goal is to be 145 by June 1st. Then I will be working to be at 130 by December. It is quite challenging and I feel the more support network the better.

I am also aiming to eat salad at least once a day. My husband as well, but he is a little finicky, same salad everyday; romaine lettuce, radish, cucumber, green onion with creamy cesar dressing. I like to mix it up so whenever I have time, mixed lettuces/spinach, fruit, seeds, whatever I have lying around. I use store…

I am also a junk food muncher. My first week, I was pretty good at staying away at junk. my second week, it became increasingly on my mind, by the third week, I indulged a little bit, reduced my portion from what want typical, just enough to get me through.I still get cravings so I drink some water and do an activity. I…

I LOVE desserts, but I have control issues around them so I really limit myself to once or twice a week. Just make room in your daily calorie intake and exercise plan. and find other options if you must have every day. Good Luck!

Fabulous! you a beaming with health and happiness! keep it up :)

I don't have a answer myself but was wondering the same. I can only get 2x at gym plus a dance class. Hard to balance between work and kids

I always add them to my spaghetti sauce (pureed if I make for my kids). I stay away from pasta, but I good on spaghetti squash!
