  • Bringing this back from the dead in case it ever gets cold around here..... :)
  • I picked a couple from this list: http://www.mensjournal.com/food-drink/collections/6-powders-to-supercharge-a-smoothie-w444225 I use the ground flax for the omegas as well and the fiber powder is obvious... :) Mike
  • My recent formula has been: 1 vanilla Kroger carbmaster yogurt, I scoop muscletech phase8 vanilla protein powder, 1 cup of kroger berry medley frozen fruit. I then add ground flaxseed, a teaspoon of matcha powder, maca powder, hemp powder, fiber powder and a dash of cinnamon. I'll add water, milk or almond milk to thin it…
  • I can't speak to the views they have. As I've read a number of review sites looking to make good choices I find that there aren't many cases of multiple sites agreeing. Looking over Top 10 lists doesn't even seem to have much overlap to find a consistently chosen 'winner'. There are also plenty of folks who would probably…

  • I sometimes mix in some Grape Nuts cereal as a change of pace from as-is. Give some whole grains and fiber to the nice protein in the Greek yogurts.

  • I usually just use my well-tuned Pandora station when working out/running. Lots of new/old/euro metal on there. Some current faves for getting/keeping a higher pace: Another Black Day - Wicked Soul Avantasia - Twisted Mind Edguy - The Asylum Firewind - Northern Sky Helloween - A Little Time Iced Earth - Declaration Day…
  • I take a generic version of Men's Centrum Silver, CoQ10, fish oil and extra calcium. The extra calcium is to help counter the prilosec I take daily since it reduces calcium absorption. I usually feel pretty good with the coverage that gives. The rest I hope to get through reasonably healthy eating.
  • Like another poster said I keep my killing to paper and zombies. I don't get to the range enough even though the wife and kids keep asking. Right now I have only a Springfield XD9 and a Savage Bolt Action, Heavy Barrel .22. Would like to get an 870 Express at some point though...
  • saving for later....
  • Whenever you dream you are holding the key To open the door and let you be free.... Ronnie James Dio (RIP)
  • I used patches to quit. The first week I work both a setp 1 and a step 3 to get over the hump. I then stayed at each level for about twice as long as the plan called for. I figured patches were better than smoking and the longer term made it stick for me.... Good Luck!
  • Our first dance was picked by her: The Day Before You - by Matthew West (but there are several versions and I don't recall which we used)
  • My wife walked in to: A Love Eternal - by Joe Satriani We left the place to: If I could Fly - by Joe Satriani We also played: Always with me, Alway with You - by Joe Satriani There wasn't a standard wedding song around and we both loved it! I got myself a fine woman! :)
  • I also use and recommend the stevia-based sweeteners. Keep in mind that it may take a few days for your taste buds to adust because splenda is much sweeter than stevia. http://www.3fatchicks.com/splenda-vs-stevia-whats-the-difference/
  • Excellent work! That is astounding! Is that picture in the purple top from Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway by chance?
  • Again, Thanks to all for the input. Just reading all the ways everyone looks at various "fluids" was enlightening by itself. I'll admit that it is rare that I drink plain old water. I drink plenty of Powerade Zero and Crystal Light type drink so I am plenty hydrated, just not getting enough plain water. I'll have to find a…
  • Are you sure you aren't just bloated and uncomfortable and perhaps a little touchy due due to being a bit retentive? There are tens of thousands of posts on here and nobody is groing to sort through them all.... Sory to bother you but you could have simply ignored the thread... Mike
  • Wow! This is a hot topic! It remonds me of the oil or tire threads on my motorcycle group... :) I gues I will alter what I was counting and take the middle ground as best I can. I will try to log everything that isn't: 0 calories, 0 salt and 0 carbs as basically water and then seperately track the others to ensure my…
  • When trying cold turkey after many years of smoking I always hit a wall at about 3-5 days. On Chantix I was good for about 6 months and then a poker party did me in. I'm now at just over 2 years having used the patch. I did the first week wearing both a Step 1 patch and a Step 3 patch. That got me over the hardest part.…
  • Turkey sandwich made with Aunt Millie's 40-calorie whole wheat bread, turkey and mustard and some parmesan/garlic triscuit thins. Not too bad...
  • Congrats on earning your new title! I use a program to count up from the time I put out my last one. It pops up every time I start my computer. At 9:00PM EST on August 15th it will be 2 years. I chose the 1-year mark to consider myself a non-smoker because it was twice as long as my previous best attempt. The fact that you…
