I did start tracking my iron in my macros and was shocked how little iron I was getting. I have very little calcium intake with the exception of almond milk. Thank you all for your support and great ideas.

I take a iron supplement twice a day. Vitamin B as well as a Chinese Root blood builder called marrow plus.

Anemia can be a result of running, here is a link to a post by a doctor that explains how it can happen. http://www.runnersworld.com/injury-prevention-recovery/ask-doctor-does-running-cause-or-contribute-anemia

I have many questions regarding this as well. I went through cancer last year, finished up chemo and radiation in November. I was slightly anemic in January when we did blood work. I was running and feeling pretty well. I ran over 60 miles in March and when April and May came I hit a wall. I could hardly breathe couldn't…

When someone gets on the treadmill next to me and wants to talk to me. I enjoy my music when I run and dont want to keep taking my headphones out to talk.

What a great story, You have an amazing transformation and really show how lifestyle changes can pay off. Congratulations.

Love today's rant and can relate. I have one busy body at work that makes my weight her business often.

Totally agreed!! You were not meant to have the shake for breakfast.

This is exactly what I was thinking. When you restrict your calories that much you are losing... fat and muscle. If all you ate was M&M's and restricted your calories you will lose weight it doesn't mean it is the best way.
maybe some of these fatties need to put the fork down and work out?
^^^^ Yes!!!

I definitely agree, I feel it promotes being healthy and active. Too many focus on a size and there are many sizes that are very unhealthy because they don't exercise. People need to take "Diet" out of their focus and work on being healthy and sweating is part of getting healthy.
-
Great before and after pictures! The good news is you know how to do it and get back in shape. I know its frustrating the set back with medical issues, but an even better reason to get healthy again.

If you run in the mornings pay attention to your schedule, is it after you eat? Affected by coffee this helps You to plan out. I mainly run at night and I always wait at least an hour after dinner so I can digest my food. Morning runs I may have a banana and eat afterwards.

I prefer a goatee or trimmed beard. No long beards for me.

I added my own time based on my running speed. you can find it online, some treadmills calculate it based on weight and speed. I take mine from my Nike + app.

Aries :) confidence is rarely lacking!!!

I prefer the capris as well, shorts riding up while I am running annoys me.

In my marriage I was definitely the dumper, with about 75% of the people I have dated, I was the one to gracefully excuse myself :) The other times I got dumped.

Too funny, I have to admit I have used all 5 of those a time or two. Thanks for the laugh.

Going to the Dr and not only was I over 200lbs she told me that my blood pressure was so high that she wanted me to make an appointment with a cardiologist that day to be put on blood pressure medication. I talked her into giving me one month to get it down with diet and exercise changes and I started running and seeing…

I do better when I don't deprive myself, so I will still splurge on occassion or fit something into my calorie goal but I have to say that I have cut out all soda's and bottled juices. For me it was too many calories and would replace me drinking water so I gave it up completely.

I could not agree more, I am a happy 36D. I have had a lump removed that was non-cancerous and friends who have gone through breast cancer. So important to take care of them and appreciate them. It's better to question what does not feel right then let it go.
