You're doing great! I hope you are able to stay on course smile you're away. :)

Yesterday I did weights. Today I ran 2 miles and walked an additional two miles to work. I'm struggling with food though. :/

Slow and steady wins the race! A loss is a loss, right? :)

Week 1: 152.6 Week 2: 155.2 Week 3: 154.6 Week 4: 151 Whoohoo! :D

Week 1: 152.6 Week 2: 155.2 Week 3: 154.6 Not back down to 152, but I will take it. It's my TOM anyway. Hopefully I will see a larger change next week. All of you are doing so well! :)

Had a salad for lunch, did weights today, and had 130 grams of protein. :)
-
Protein: Monday - 135 grams Tuesday - 152 grams Wednesday - 109 (I will be adding something in to up the protein. I'm just late night meal planning.)

Today I did my third day of lifting. I feel accomplished, because in the recent past I have had a difficult time doing more than one workout in a week. I want to keep going though. Next week will be the true test. :)

My whole life had been a struggle with weight. I started losing weight in 2010 after ending a toxic relationship and moving across the country. I went from zero physical activity and fast food/restaurants nearly every single day to walking everywhere I went and having to cook my own food because restaurants are expensive.…

You guys are all doing a fantastic job! Those are all great losses. I on the other hand am up. I'm really sore though, so it could just be water weight (and I drank a lot of water). They also moved the scale at my gym which can sometimes change how it measures. Still sad to see the scale go up. We'll see what next week…

Did my second day of weight lifting and had a huge salad for lunch. :)

Substitute jelly for honey... then you have the best peanut butter sandwich. ;)
-
Jodi, it is from the color run. I did it this year for the first time as well. Actually, it was my first 5k. I finished in about 35 min. :)
-
Sounds like a great day. Wine stayed as a fruit... lol
-
No prob! I'm excited to have so many people interested already. I really needed the motivation and I hope I can help all of you reach your goals as well. :)
-
It's funny, because I'm not very picky. I love fruits and veggies. As long as I have them fresh I will eat them. It's when they are canned or frozen that I will reach for something else.
-
That's great! I love sweet potatoes. My refrigerator is freezing all my veggies, so I can't keep anything fresh lately. I need to stock up on frozen veggies. :(

Week 1: Starting weight is 152.6 lbs. I'm actually down 2.2 lbs since my last weigh-in on the 3rd, but I'm still going to use 152.6 as my starting weight.
-
Let's start today. It can be our first weigh-in. I will be posting mine a little later. I weigh myself at the gym. I'm trying to motivate myself to get up. Lol
-
Down to 150.8 lbs. Thank you so much for helping me out. It seems my plateau has been broken.
-
Will do. Perhaps I should update again in a couple of weeks?
-
Both show a 3 lbs loss. It is possible, though, that with the old scale (since I missed a week) that it was over two weeks. I think I will continue using both scales for a couple of weeks to see if the losses/gains are at the same rate. Consistency of loss/gain is more important to me than my actual weight. If they both…

This is exactly why I posted this. I wanted to inspire, motivate, and encourage others. And to show people that it can be done, even though it seems hopeless when you have so much left to lose. Trust me. I remember. You will all get there. :)
-
pagoubupa - you will get there. :) change30 - As far as food is concerned... I try to make protein a priority every day. Also, healthy fats are very filling (avocado, nuts, etc). Of course, not every single day is going to be protein packed, but I feel full longer when I do have my protein intake higher. I have always…

Update: I was going to post LAST week, but the scale I usually use at the gym wasn't working. I did weigh myself on another scale at the gym, but it was so far off from the other one I didn't think it was accurate. My normal scale had last weighed me at 157.8 and this new scales weighed me at 152.4 or 154.2. I should have…

I did read that one as well. I didn't see a link to a video, so I will check that out again. I just mean that I think weighing your food seems like it would be unrealistic for anyone permanently. I understand what you mean about goals though. I know it is more accurate. I guess I just don't feel comfortable doing something…
-
Would you like for me to follow up in this thread? Also, I read all the links before posting. I do measure everything, I just don't own a food scale. Honestly, I feel it is an unrealistic way to eat. If I'm am not sure of how much I'm eating I always overestimate what I think it might be.

Thank you! :)
-
Sorry, I thought it was open. It's open now.

That's wonderful! Keep up the good work!
