  • I have been considering this diet as well. It just sounds too good to be true.
  • I gain weight when I have ate high sodium foods. And I am really swelled up. But usually after a day of watching my sodium and drinking water I drop back down to where I was before. Congrats on your loss!
  • You do look great! And congrats to your daughter!! I understand what you are saying cause I have no pics of me. I am always the one taking the pictures, no one else wants too. Plus, I always hated any picture of me. So, as I look back at my pics of my family there is nothing of me. When we had to find photos of my Mom for…
  • I don't understand why the doctors are saying that fatty liver is no big deal. It can be a big deal. I have a family member that is in the later stages of it and it has developed into non alcoholic psorrosis (spelled wrong) of the liver. Another family member has been diagnosed with fatty liver and was told she had the…
  • and not eating whatever and whenever daily. Save it for special occasions! You have to live life and enjoy it too, just don't go hog wild on a daily basis. Good luck!
  • I feel your pain! I have lost 21lbs and the only place I have dropped a size in is cup size!!!! Would be nice to drop a pant size, but no, it has to be the one place I didn't need to lose!! I have been trying to do some of the arm and chest exercises so hopefully that will help. You are not alone!
  • Sounds like you really need to log your food and track your sodium. You will be surprised how much sodium is in stuff. I really watch mine closely through the week but slide on the weekends and I can sure tell it. By Monday I'm puffy and can lose anywhere from 1 lb to 3lbs in water weight! Don't give up, you will conquer…

  • According to the person that wrote the Biggest Loser Cookbooks, you should weigh meat cooked that way you are getting more.
  • Thanks for the ideas! Gonna have to try it!
  • It's not a crazy question, just about everyone has a fear of something! I have been wanting one of those Ifit treadmills for ages. What model do you have? Is it one that has the Google maps? You can do it, you can't let that machine control you! Best of Luck!!
  • I eat tacos all the time. it is my favorite food to have on hand. I fix what ever shells for the rest of the family and then I skip the shell all together and just make a taco salad. I measure my meat and pile on the veggies. That way I don't feel like I am missing out on anything. Just a suggestion. I have made them with…
  • Someone gave my 94 year old Grandma a Topsy turvey and it grew but she felt sorry for it cause it kept growing up. I can't wait til we have fresh veggies from our garden! So far I have 6 different kinds and colors going in the garden, including a purple tomato! Anxious to see how that one tastes. I would really try to find…
  • I was looking for the same thing this week so I put in the search box on this site "arm exercises" and it came up some good topics on what are some good exercises to do to help tone. It was an older post but still helpful.
  • Not sure about that but I do freeze my pudding cups and eat them. Helps when I am really wanting ice cream! My kids like them too! I wouldn't know why that wouldn't work though
  • Love your additude! I think we can all relate to your meltdown! Keep up the good work!
  • I have taken it for several years. It does seem to help but I do have times that I feel bloated. They put me on it to help control my migraines and it does help ease them. I still get them during that TOM but not as much and they aren't as severe.

  • There are a lot of rude people out there, I agree! I see a lot of my daughters' classmates being so rude and wonder why their parents didn't teach them to be more respectful! There are some kids you just dread being around because of the way they act and we tried our best to make sure our girls were not like that! I feel…
  • It seems like everytime I allow myself to cheat, I usually think it wasn't worth it. Sometimes it is totally worth it but most of the time it is not. But it is really hard to convince myself that it is not worth it BEFORE I eat it. That is my downfall.
  • I can relate completely! Only my husband will eat my healthy food I fix and then turn around and eat his junk too! Makes me so mad cause he (and the kids sometimes) eat all my healthy stuff and run me out and then eat all the junk too!! I a lot of times will fix the rest of the family their meal and I usually have…
  • Thanks, I think that is the one I am going to go with!
  • Sounds like may be water weight. The first week usually is mainly water weight and then you kinda level out. Congrats though! It's still a loss!
  • I have the Sketchers and have bad feet. I wear them from the time I get up til I go to bed and they don't bother my feet. I will be buying another pair before long. They do look dorky though but help my feet so I don't really care!

  • Everyone deals with it differently. I had 3 cut out at the same time and ate pizza that night. I only took pain pills the day of the surgery and took tylenol the rest of the time. I just didn't chew in the back but other than that I was fine.
  • I know how hard it is to depend on family to cook for you. My Mother in Law fries everything and then pours the grease into the veggies she is cooking for flavor. Plus, butter and salts everything!! Oh it is sooo good but oh so bad for you! I just try to not eat tons all day and then watch my portions of her cooking and…

  • I signed up for the n January and I won't be renewing when my time is up. I thought it was going to be something different but it's not really. This site has better forums. Now I guess if you have no clue on how to lose weight then weight watchers might teach you something but if you are like me and know HOW to do it but…
  • These all sound yummy! Thanks for the ideas!
  • Congratulations! I cannot wait until I have that problem! At least my jeans now aren't as snug as they use to be but still not as loose as I would like for them to be.
  • My knees aren't sore but my thighs are killing me!! There is no way I could do it everyday to start. My goal is to keep up and then move on but it will take me longer than 10 days to move on. Didn't realize I was so out of shape!
  • I read on another post to log it in under circuit training.
