I went up another .5lbs...ugh. 237.5lbs. However, started a 21 day plan and am hoping it will bring some balance to my life and more will power to stay on track.

My triggers are stress, and I run (not walk) towards anything slightly resembling sugar or carbs...like the candy dish at work. Going to try and figure out something else to do when that happens. I'm worth more than those little mini chocolate bars! :smiley:

I don't know what did it for me...nothing spectacular, just one day I woke up and decided I wanted to do it. I've been heavy for years. I used to carry my weight well because of my frame but it has caught up with me. I hurt now. I guess I am sick and tired of being sick and tired all the time.

Take mini-walks throughout the day. People get smoke breaks, so it should not be frowned upon if you get up and take a quick five minute walk around the facility or the block. Just five minutes say every other hour even would help. Do leg lifts under your desk. Who cares what you look like doing it, think of the end…

Thanks, Alisadee. Still trying to wrap my arms around tracking and being accountable. I need work with planning meals and of course, ensuring I exercise. So, a work in progress but hopefully moving forward.

Short term I'd like to lose 30lbs to get me out of the 200s, and then next goal to get to 140-160. Just depends. I want to do it healthy and lasting. I'm 52. I'll support you!

Current weight: 236, "0" no loss or gain. Hopefully, next week I will see movement in a good direction, but at least there was no gain.

I am going to try and comit to working out 3X this coming week for 30 minutes. It will be the first time in a long time I have formally exercised. Weather permitting, I will also try to grab some 5 minute quick walks back and forth to my car at work.
