  • Yes…one thing that helps me get through the tougher days or times is to think of what I’m grateful for. Also, give myself some grace, it’s ok to sometimes clear your calendar, or cancel a plan when I need rest. Knowing my limits and having boundaries has made a big difference in depression. I get anxiety still, it’s really…
  • I tried to just enjoy the holiday weekend, ate as my heart desired! A bit slow getting back into working out this week, but I always ebb and flow there. I need that balance. I didn’t track calories those days, so back in that 100%! Skipped a weigh in last Sunday!!! Hope your feeling back on track!
  • I have the same issues, what I realized is as long as I stay in my calorie goals, I’m still hitting my targets. If that means 200 calories a day reserved for something sweet, I enjoy it. I was binging on candy at night so this alone is a good improvement for me. I also try tea as someone else mentioned with a little…
  • I had an iron issue for years...only once I saw a naturopath (I also deal with thyroid/hashimotos) I was given shots of iron with B12. I was not absorbing iron through my stomach due to a b12 deficiency. This is fairly common. You may want to have that checked on her. My other suggestion is to try and avoid gluten and soy.…
  • Good for you! I’d love to help keep you accountable and support each other
  • I’m in! I just started back on my fitness pal today after a few years of not using g it. I’m aiming for 12 weeks focused to get to my goal weight. Main thing for me is getting enough calories, that’s been an issue and avoiding sugary junk food. So holiday season, laser focused! Let’s do this!
  • Oh yeah, I have been dealing with sleeping problems that I have had for the past 3 years...I am sure that it is all catching up with me. I am going to work on the 7 hours a night, good point that my body probably does not have time to repair and rest. Thank you!
  • Thanks for the responses everyone. I am usually eating anywhere from 1400-1500 calories a day and burning about 500 on average with work outs. I think that I might need to up my calories every couple days during my major work out days. I don't notice myself feeling too hungry, but fatigued for sure.
  • Yeah, just eat the cupcake but make sure you count it into your daily calorie intake. I had a piece of pie last night but it just means I eat a little less of other foods that day. NO big deal. You must focus on the big picture, which it sounds like you are having great results. Stress is worse then anything, the stress…
  • I was diagnosed with hyper last year, lost weight, was already low, then changed my diet and within about 6 months gained and gained and gained. Paleo seemed to help me feel better but I still felt that diet had more fat and calories then my body was use to especially after a vegan diet and the binging from being hyper. So…
  • That's true for me too...I try to do AM work outs and it is GREAT when I can be more consistent going in the evenings. Sleep is important too. Hope you find a schedule that works good for you. I like to aim for 4 gym trips a week in the evenings, then at least once over the weekened. In between that, I am pretty active as…
  • Sounds like some of the people here suggest to not weigh in during that time of the month, I AGREE, in the future I will be doing that because it was added stress to see the scale go up...but I guess it is all part of the journey.
  • Thanks ladies for the responses...I will just attribute it to that and keep plugging away this week and hope to see my loss go back down next week ;-)
  • I am in! CW - 141 GW - 121 Check in every Tuesday! Great idea ;-)
  • Hi, I was vegan for 10 years and vegetarian for about 5 prior to that. Due to some health problems that had stacked up for the past few years of my diet and also stress I made a complete change in how I ate and elimnated gluten, soy, and added back animal proteins. My body has changed over the past year due to these…
