  • I have done a whole plant based diet for short amounts of time. I usually do this 3 or 4 times per year to 'clean out'. Usually 3-7 days. Personally, I couldn't sustain for months on end. I tend to eat this way anyway but I do consume small amounts of fish, yogurt, and eggs too. I think you would really seem some positive…
  • Are you looking for supporters or a date? ie your subject line....'REDHEAD' looking for support...
  • So true! I use to really like 'yogurt' covered raisins, jelly beans, gummy bears, twizzlers, peanut butter cup candy, etc., Most taste 'waxy' and way too sickly sweet to me and like you said, 'tast(ing) of chemicals'.
  • Since you 'hate' to throw them away, do it away...Next time you probably won't buy them because you threw away your money on the ones you threw out! It's not really 'food' any way...it does NOTHING for you - why consume it, there's plenty of other 'good for you' foods that taste devine that you should have in it's place:)…
  • Wow! You must feel SO good too. WTG
  • Yes, that's type I usually buy - but I guess it's a popular variety, as I'm finding it 'sold out' quite often. Thanks
  • Wow...quite a response LOL! Too funny I must say ;) Personally I have to watch my sodium intake, really like cottage cheese (sometimes the 'dry curd' variety - which 'naturally' contains very low sodium is not always avail.). Just thought I'd share and thought a few others might be interested too...
  • not bad for 210 calories...it would make a lot too:))
  • The op could choose other berries for her morning smoothies...One cup of strawberries or blackberries are between 5 - 7 grams. Bananas have got to be the highest fruit out there! That's why people who need to gain weight eat those. "Bananas are basically nature's cupcakes" as someone posted earlier...
  • Thanks - yes I think trying to find this item will be an adventure. I would order on line but the shipping cost usually is double than the actual item and I'm certainly not going to pay $18 or more for it!
  • Looking great! How have you changed your lifestyle? Did your family follow your lead?? WTG!!
  • Thanks for your response. I was looking at the natural BP powder (the plain one). I am after a 'natural' tasting peanut butter 'alternative' (trying to have that peanut butter taste without all the calories); I might try the peanut flour - I'm ok with 'bland' and I can always mix in a bit of stevia if I need to. Thanks…
  • Hey you! Thanks for your input:)
  • Thanks all! I'm off to the store right now and will definitely be purchasing a digital one!
  • No I mean a 'body scale'. Thanks
  • I am a pescetarian and consume Nutritional Yeast daily (it's high in B12). However, my B12 is super high and my doctor advises me to stop...however I can't seem to...it's just so damn yummy. I've cut down though. As far as a weight loss tool - I don't think it'll do anything for you anyways and you might as well stop…
  • I sure hope someone can offer something to your post...I'm suffering too with back issues and haven't been to the gym since beginning of November! It totally ruins your day, as it's sure hard to concentrate on anything! Good luck...
  • I remember when I first moved out of my parents house, I told myself "now I'M THE BOSS" of me! (18 years old) and decided to be a vegetarian. While being a vegetarian is great, I had NO idea what I was doing...so I only ate soup made from a few vegetables and water...it tasted very bla...but I thought that's what they ate!…
  • This has been asked numerous times...the entire recipe is 'one serving'.
  • I 'gave' up refined sugar years ago. It also eliminated all those packages items that I thought I couldn't live without. My sugars now come from baking with stevia/dates/figs/bananas/apple sauce/raw honey, etc., I am loving making my own stuff and find the packaged items I thought were SO good...actually do not taste very…
  • I take magnesium (250 mg) every night before bed and 500 mg of Vitamin C too. Works like a charm. I've done it for about 6 months and I have no issues. I've also tried 1 tbsp. of ground flax in warm water with 1-2 Tbsp. of olive oil. That has worked too. Looks like fat (a lack of) in your diet would be a factor too.
  • Check out Chocolate Covered Katie's site too if your in the mood for a little sweet! I love to make roasted chickpeas - different flavors (spices)/Kale chips or edamame pods with nutritional yeast and coarse sea salt/Banana ice cream, greek yogurt with a bit of stevia and pure vanilla extract...oh my, I could go on and…
  • Funny...in In my city, we didn't even know about food trucks 10 years ago...we just got the city's 'ok' to have them about 2 years ago!
  • You might have better luck following a Candida diet including focusing on: probiotics, detox, improving colon health, hormones, antifungals, nutritional deficiencies, liver health, food sensitivities and more. The most crucial part is to remove all forms of sugar. I'm sure you know about this. I don't think 'one' thing…
  • I agree too...shop the perimeter of the grocery store. Just buy 'real' food and stay away from packaged things (expensive!) Start using spices too...they really are beautiful thing! Good Luck

  • I worked for me when I needed to 'clear' my skin - and I used borage oil too.
  • Not sure about a 'cure' for yeast issues...oh and those recent photos are just disgusting...just saying. Anyways, I posted this back in the fall. I drink ACV with water and a bit of stevia everyday - helps my blood sugars "Apparently drinking vinegars and 'shrubs' is a whole movement...and I'm on board. Not only yummy, but…
  • Similar experience to 'carcarxx94' - spend a year in either IP or OP. I remember the first three weeks of consuming 2500 calories, I actually lost weight! I thought they were lying to me. My body took those calories and went to 'work' repairing - my body was repairing and needed even more energy(calories). By the 4 and 5th…
  • It's actually listed without spice or sugar. For another example this 'calculator' suggests Roasted cashews (without spice, etc., ) at '15'. Raw Cashews (without spice, etc.,) at '8'. tritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3093/2
