Alison Brie, although again from other pics and not avatar.

Started walking again after 7 months of being unable. Felt it was time to get back into the shape I was before.

I don't plan cheat days but there is nothing wrong at all with having a nice, tasty but unhealthy meal now and then. I absolutely love food and if I feel like going to a restaurant there is not much that is going to stop me. That said, I can't eat takeaway anymore since cleaning up my act, it just tastes awful now.

65, but I was the same all the years I was in shape so I didn't need a quiz to tell me that really.
-
That is brilliant. Sounds like you're raising a good 'un there too!

I wouldn't leave my locker unlocked at the gym I go to, although that said, a couple of weeks ago I put all my stuff in a locker, turned around and sorted stuff, went and locked it up and did my work out. Came back, unlocked it and all my stuff was gone... Turns out I locked up the locker next to mine and all my stuff was…

1. Name: Mike 2. how much weight you have lost so far: 40 3. How much you still want to lose, or are you maintaining? another 20-30 4. Best single piece of advice you would give people just starting out.: If you are able to get active, do it. But the most important thing is watching what you eat. Don't cut out what you…

Here are my peepers.

Oh crikey, you are right. Apologies! Really should have picked that up! Looks great. http://www.teefury.com/archive/2035/Divergent_Evolution/ was the shirt I've bought.

I am all about the cardio. Don't get me wrong, I do some weights but cardio will always be my primary concern as I play football (soccer). Never understand the big battle, just get active all you'll be healthier.

I'm watching the Matt Smith seasons now, I haven't seen the latest two seasons though, so no spoilers please! It's a good show, although I couldn't bear it when Catherine Tate was in it.

Woo! Flareon! My Eevee t-shirt comes soon I should be rocking a temporary version in the near future.

As a child who was petrified of water, I have never been into swimming. It's been 15 years since I have been in a pool. I do want to try and learn though, but the fear is most certainly still there, especially as I cannot do it. Really think I'll get some lessons, it could really be beneficial with my hips in the state…
-
Superb! Always means that much more from someone you don't really know.
-
Play every game as if it's your last. I have no blood flow to my hips so they are in risk of collapse and it probably won't be long before I need them replaced. Which would mean I can no longer play football, which is my life, so I have to take what I can right now and enjoy it.

I shall be rewarding myself with one once I shift this weight, just words though across my side. Not sure I could find a design I'd like on me for the rest of my life.
-
I own one of these as I didn't have the space to store a bike or an exercise bike and this could be put away easier. They're neat little things really, I'm sure it'd be worthwhile giving it a go if you can find one reasonably priced.

Same, I have a bad eye I'm very conscious of. I always make silly faces in photos so I can look bad on my own terms!

Inches are certainly the main thing for me, weight is not an issue but I am a chap so it's a bit different. You should certainly be proud because losing that many inches easy. It's great you're feeling better too, I am sure the lb's will follow.
-
Unfortunately I am far from being photogenic, infact I generally look horrific. Mirrors are usually kinder but not by much! That said, even the best looking, slim people on the planet will have bad photos.
-
Definitely is good enough, 1lb a week is a good goal to have and you're over achieving from that. Great work.
-
Amazing stuff, guys. Here is my work in progress.
-
14lbs this month, seems strange. Past two weeks it's gone down most, even though I've not managed to be able to get to the gym. Few more days left in the month to go. Can anyone explain why it's been so rapid at such a random time?
-
Were you always overweight? Nope, generally thin until these past couple of years. Or were you once a healthy weight? 150-165lbs at 5ft 10ins. Did you "let yourself go"? I did, got lazy, ate too much takeout. Or perhaps it was due to a traumatic event, injury or medication? Bad injury too. The reasons I became overweight…
-
You guys look great. Really good work.
-
I never mind, but I am usually first to give the figure, others just say they've noticed I've lost weight. But I am a guy so maybe it's different, plus I am a numbers man and I find it interesting. I wouldn't take it as rude though.

Pretty sure that by consuming a fly you have gained it's powers. That said, don't go jumping off buildings thinking you can fly!
-
Anywhere between 1200-1600 really, but I generally do not eat back my exercised calories as foods are often underestimated and exercise overestimated. Lost 33lbs so far, staying as active as my failing joints allow.

Looking forward to seeing more people in the club! Massive congrats to everyone in the thread, always a source of inspiration and motivation to push on.

The same happened to me just this week, finally back under 200lbs after peaking at 231lbs or so. Never going back again! 168lbs is my goal.
