That is strange. To me it seems you cannot advise on weight loss unless you are an RD or work for a weight loss company. BUT then it says you can advise on nutrition but not weight loss specifically?

Add a couple eggs,oatmeal or a protein shake to breakfast and you will add a couple hundred calories no problem. I don't know how you aren't starving by lunch after eating a banana or a special k bar for breakfast!

Website calculations give you a GUESS. Only you can figure out your actual maintenance calories. That is why everyone who joins MFP should log for at least a week their NORMAL food intake before slashing calories.

You are thinking way too much into it. Most food is processed in some way. Just make sure you are eating "real" food. Stick to meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruit, seeds, nuts and even dairy amd (WHOLE) grains if you like. Oh and I personally wouldn't worry about every single thing being organic.
