p.s. thank you in advance

Thanks for the reply!!! My barbell squats are already just lower than parallel and I googled the Romanian dead-lift, which is almost identical to what I've called a straight leg dead lifts. I'd like to bump up to training legs twice a week, but just dont have the time unless I double it up with a core workout.
-
I'm also doing an upperbody routine, and 2 core routines each week and cardio daily ...

Thanks, the half marathon is my eventual goal. I'll try the c25k again, slow it down a bit and see how I go. :D

I haven't made 2miles, just 2 minutes running solid, hence the problem :(
-
I don't feel like I am making progress which is why I am asking here... Pt is a professional soccer coach as well as a pt so I am guessing he has some tactical running experience?Might try the c25k app again tomorrow and see how far I can get? Not sure how to tackle it, I don't need to do it fast, (my intervals atm are…

I was doing C25k before working with the pt, I got stuck at about the 2 minute mark with breathing and wanted professional help?
-
Thank you for the answers! Its a lot to process...I'll try and reply back when I have made more sense of it all

Hey, me too... I have IBSc and am gluten intolerant, it has been suggested that I eat low fodmap but that alone doesnt seem to be enough. I would love to try paleo, but I am exercised obsessed and dont want to compromise my workouts?
-
First off, awesome work on making the 10 miles!!! That is a big achievement, especially if you are usually only running 2-4. What does MFP say for the calorie burn if you try to track in manually... I would guess that based on your pace it would be closer to half that? External apps as well as MFP all calculate calories…

My pt designed the hitt program around what he has been watching me do in the gym for over a year...he said it is normal, I had been working between 6-8.5km per hour intervals and he has pushed that to a gap of 6-12.6km per hour intervals and I am finding that easier, I am only doing six 1 minute intervals with 2-3 minutes…

Sounds way to little to me... I weigh 120lb and lightly use the elliptical and for 10 minutes its between 65-90 cals depending on what level I set it to!
-
Im with MoreBean13, floating runs make it amazingly worth it. I found getting back into running that having a HIIT program was much easier than just running. Better progress and I am feeling stronger doing it which makes it more pleasurable.

Embrace it and screw what everyone else thinks...but I'm very small in the breast department so maybe it's different
-
Thank you...its just hard to stay motivated
-
OMFG!!!! so amazing! Great job and brilliant effort on your part for staying with it!!! I started at 167lb aiming for 110lb... 125lb so far, so excited for the types of results that are possible!!!

I do in the winter :-) best pjs ever!!
-
hahahah :-) yeah not a huge steak eater anyway but yes I know its good protein, thanks
-
Unfortunately I just cannot handle processed fish at all. I do eat fresh raw fish or grilled fresh fish. I struggle with dairy, I manage yogurt but not cheese very often :( which is a shame as I really love it.
-
The ratio for the protein I am using is actually higher than that one... my serving size is 30g and I get 25.8g protein, so for the moment I feel I will stick with the NZ WPC I use. At the moment I am upping from one to two shakes per day so for 60g of powder I will get just under 52g protein. :-) I can and do eat fish,…

Sounds good, I will need to track some down!!!

I have a reasonably high fiber diet and take a fiber supplement and that has helped a lot! I adore tofu as well as lentils chickpeas etc but unfortunately they are rather tricky to incorporate as I live at home and tofu especially are not allowed in the house (thanks dad)! I find meat can be a real challenge as I don't…

Thanks! its a good list to start with!

I am exclusively screwed if I run outside! I can do 8-12km on a treadmill but not even 4km outside and no luck with prevention or rescue inhalers
