Fridge Organisation?

Help!!! I am re organising the fridge (I chucked everything I couldn't eat/ was out of date/ I couldn't remember how long it was in there) and now I need a strategy I can stick to the door for you to organise the food inside the fridge to maximise food freshness and avoid contamination and health issues?
I googled for a diagram but couldn't come up with anything which had a health logic behind it? I have a large commercial style fridge with a glass door. So there is only racks inside the fridge, no door compartments or crisper draws etc.
Thank you in advance for your advice

I don't have a specific diagram/plan that I follow, but I tend to keep foods that can spoil quicker (meats, dairy, etc.) on the lower shelves because it keeps them (slightly) colder and prevents drippings from packages of meat getting into other food. Home-cooked leftovers in the middle range, and condiments/other items that don't need to be kept as cold or don't spoil easily in the door (I understand you don't have that option) or on the top shelves.
I can't really help you on veggies as my fridge has crispers. Maybe get some nice containers that could act like a crisper for vegetable storage?0 -
