In my experience, it just keeps getting easier after that first little bit. I don't have cravings much at all any more, and I have no compulsion to snack constantly at night. I don't even remember when that stopped, it just all of the sudden wasn't a problem any more! I think eliminating as much sugar from your diet only…

Just keep tracking and eating healthy. Your body will do the rest!

Pretty serious amount of dedication right there. Awesome transformation. Any grad program, or company for that matter, will be lucky to get you.

I think it's great to love yourself. Ultimately that's where confidence springs from. But that doesn't mean you have to throw it in people's faces. Being hot and knowing it is great, but being hot AND humble is downright sexy.

Just looks strong and confident, probably a woman who knows what she wants out of life and love!

Looks like someone who's got there *kitten* together, but also has a wild side.

My early 20s were the greatest years of my life. The second half of my 20s has been a slow decline in so many ways, but almost all related to my weight and health. I'm determined to make my 30s even better than my early 20s, as I refuse to believe that my best days have already passed me by.

To be quite honest, you looked great before and you look great now. Now, what are all those things on your wall??

FitBit is really easy and hassle free. I don't know much about heart rate monitors, but fitbit is working great for me. I particularly love their "dashboard" which shows you all of your daily info/stats. I love it!

As of June 9. I'm slackin' a bit...gotta pick up the pace.

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments. I feel so strange sharing these kinds of things with people, but at the same time I've enjoyed reading everyone else's NSVs that I felt compelled to return the favor. It's the little things that'll keep us all motivated. Best of luck y'all!!

Anything with Sean Penn in it. I've never seen an actor so blatantly chasing Oscars like this guy. Overacts and underwhelms...

I would gladly trade 10 lbs on the scale for two inches lost around the waist! Be patient, the results will rush in if you keep strong and stick to the plan. Enjoy the variety of ways that your body will transform.

This site is great. It takes one addition (food) and ties it to another (internet) and the end result is that we become addicted to eating and living healthy while sharing our experiences with the community. Not a bad deal huh?

I've got a lot to lose myself and I'm just getting started. I'm routing for you!

Great stuff. Enjoy your vacation!

You are indeed on a quest quite similar to mine! I wish you all the best, and can't wait to read your success story right here on MFP!!

Money IS a great motivator. So is health, fitness, looking great, feeling great. There's just so many ways that being a healthy weight can improve life. At least that's how I see it. However, my lifestyle change goes beyond just weight loss, and money is definitely an area where I'm trying to be more responsible, so to…

From 46 to 42 already? That's awesome, and exactly what I was hoping to hear. I've yo-yo'd quite a bit the last few years, but never tracked anything besides weight, so I had no idea what kind of changes to expect in terms of pants size and how long it would take. I'm tracking everything now.
-
That's incredible! How did you accomplish that? Also, any idea how your other measurements changed in that time span?

My "deadline" is totally self-imposed, and not my ultimate goal. It's just that I am leaving the country for six weeks and will be working outdoors, so I really want to fit into the gear I have that is currently too small. I'll be saving a lot of money if I can squeeze into things by the end of July. It's really just an…

I don't want to derail this challenge, but I'm game. However, I'm putting my June goal at 150 miles. That's my own personal challenge. I'll be tracking with my fitbit. Five miles a day. I can do that...I think.

I'd like to lose about 20 lbs and 2-4 inches from my waist.

this is what i'm learning too. it confused me at first, but i see what's going on now.
