  • myself and @andrewmayhall loged 8.6 miles each this morning! We know that's not a lot, but at least a 17 mile contribution to our team :) ! I still haven't found the link yet that is about how to log appropriately, I think @TDseest is sending that to me today. But we got our cyclemeter to automatically feed our ride info…
  • Okay i sent the invite from both of us! Let me know if that works or if theres anything else we need to do. Me and him both still have to figure out how to get CycleMeter to import to our strava accounts. I will be taking care of that tonight.
  • Sorry i've been really busy with work, But I will talk with @TDSeest today to make sure our Strava account is set up to our Cyclemeters (Sorry, we've never done Strava before, hence the delay). We will be ready to go for tomorrow morning riding!!
  • Sorry I have been busy! But without further a due, WE ARE IN! Please make sure to update my bib to my new username "sheep_dog" Also I didn't realize my friend was now using the MFP username "andrewmayhall" my strava athlete ID: https://www.strava.com/athletes/14957610 andrewmayhall's athlete ID:…
  • also note that I changed my username to @sheep_dog !
  • If there is any room, then I'll join, and also my room mate would like to join too! @awmayhall. Let me know if we can or not! We'll be trying to ride every day, and go on some long rides with @TDSeest, if he wants to hang out with us ever again hahaha
  • Hello!! Your story is exactly the same as mine. 21 here, been here for probably 2 years. Original lost 25 lbs, put half back on when I off the band wagon. Now I'm back! Eating healthy and doing insanity early mornings with bike rides in the afternoons Feel free to add me! I love commenting positive things, and receiving…
  • I really like a piece of wheat toast with 2 tbs of natural peanut butter. Only smuckers, as they are the only brand I've found with only peanuts as the ingredients with nothing else. Other brands like jiff will have a natural version but always has added sugar. It's fast, warm, and filling! And right at ~270 calories, it's…
  • Don't to go acting like you didn't just tell us you were making racoon chili.
  • @acg67, That's kind of a silly question. Reflect on it, and ask yourself "why would she want to try this?" Then think, in light of the fitness forums, maybe she is wanting a "healthier" alternative to normal pizza crust, in her eyes. Maybe she wants the extra protein, and less carbs, and realizes the difference in taste…
  • That's true, regular blender might not. But ninjas or nutribullet a should work!!
  • Sorry I don't have anything to contribute besides a bump for future interest and a comment: For the people hating on him for his concerns, you can quit with your big **** syndrome. After working hard to reach a low body fat percentage, it is common sense and normal human psychology for him to not want to gain some body fat…
  • oh ok, maybe I'll stay away! Why do so many people take them? And in nearly every "stack" you buy from bodybuilding.com,they include these fish oils. If they were being shown to be bad, would they advocate for them =x?
  • To be honest, I should have! Just never really believes I could change my body until I started riding a lot, and it happened. But if I would have been lifting that whole time, I bet my body would be a lot better than it is now. Also thanks everyone for your input! Sounds like the general concencus is maybese protein…
  • Yeah it really does! I'll be starting tomorrow =). Thanks for sharing. Maybe I'll try to get a group going on here!
  • I really want to go with you, because they are so damn expensive. But there has to be at least something to it, for stores like suplement superstore to exist. I figure if I can get some cheaper alternatives than the best stuff, and spend like $50 for two months that would give me at least a little edge, it would be worth…
  • Also if I stay dedicated, I very well may buy the bodybuilding.com's fat loss for men pack: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/exclusive-combos/mens-fat-loss-20-39-stack-advanced.html but I don't want to commit $175 until I am really in the habit of going to the gym. Just need a basic stack to get me by.
  • You can get a schwinn prelude for around $200. They are a fantastic starter road bike. You aren't going to win the your de France on it, but you sure as hell can shed some pounds and it's 100x better than a Walmart mountain bike. Personal experience!
  • Really no one has tried this? Has such great reviews I thought at least someone would have.
  • Way to go!! That's such a cool NSV. Congrats, I hope you start looking forward to the doctors visits!
  • Wow that sounds good for the cold weather/holidays! I could have 3 of these for breakfast, for like 30g of protein and under 300 calories! Thanks for sharing =))
  • Forget the scale. Don't become a slave to it. I recommend weighing in only once every two weeks or once a week at most. Also make sure you weigh in at the same time every morning, after you wake up and after you go to the bathroom, but before you shower or eat something. Your weigh varies throughout the day because of…
  • I'm now on day 4. I started the next one up from beginner, first class I think it's called. So far I really love it! It's everything I wanted. A quick at home routine that leaves me sore and worked but able to do it. I can't wait to get into about week 5-6 and hopefully start seeing some muscle tone
  • Well according to bodybuilding.com, you don't produce new muscle out of nothingness, and that not all your calories have to come in from your mouth - they can come from storage you have. See the link I posted above
