Egg whites, baked chicken, spinach, low fat yogurt... looks like it is possible to me. None of those things are high in fats and none are high in carbs either. I do eat some almonds each day for a source of healthy fats and I also will eat some oatmeal sometimes, as I mentioned earlier. .... thanks though...lol

That's great advice. Yeah, I'm not binge eater... I err on the side of not eating enough (good food). Local food is a good idea - probably cheaper too. I thought about packing packets of oatmeal in my luggage for breakfasts. I don't know if that's the best idea though. I ican see all of my clothes covered in oatmeal flakes…

clean diet = no processed food, sugars, alcohol, etc. I'm okay with only water weight or a temporary weight loss for this event. (I know that sounds unhealthy.) Should I fry the worms or broil them?

I said google-diagnosis (LMAO) so unless Google has an "Upload serum option." ha ha ha. I just have a lot of the symptoms. I hope it is just coincidence and I do NOT have to take medicines every day. I guess I'll see in about 6 days.

A game I mean diet...measuring,logging,water etc. (no serious additional exercise yet) I just think it's only fair that I be at goal by now... I mean I passed up a Snickers - that should qualify as an immediate 5 pound loss, right? (of course I know better)

I want to know what's *really real* in regards to cal in/cal out theory versus "starvation mode" and not eating enough calories.

Definitely want one that integrates with mfp but want one that is accurate. I've heard negative things about the aria from the fitbit page. Maybe they've fixed the bugs. ?????

IDK but I'm right there with you. Logging for 5days and gained 1.5 and lost 1.5. So I'm right where I started. Glad to know that there is someone else in my boat too. Let's just hang in there a bit longer.

I just gave a piece of my FAVORITE pizza to the dog (instead of eating it like I wanted to.) I knew if it went back in the 'fridge I would have eaten it later. LOL - My dog loves me. :)

Amanda, I've been eating at least 5 veggies a day. They are usually added into my mail meals. Like last night I made spaghetti and added zuchini, squash, eggplant, etc into it. I jusst didn't log each one separately because... well... I have 3 kids under 5... LOL Most of my meals this week have been "homemade with help"…

If you want to date someone - do it. Losing weight and "dieting" is learning how to incorporate all aspects of your life into a healthy balance. If you are really selfish with your time and energy now - while losing weight will you know how to automatically find the healthy balance with maintainance and dating later?
