Actually, the best answer is to eat before and after. About an hour prior to exercise a small meal or snack consisting of some carbs help to fuel your workout and eating some protein after your workout helps to repair and build muscle. You may also be able to find a lot more information on this if you google eating and…

I love greek yogurt. You can get it fat free and it has a lot of protein in it which should help you feel full longer. I also like cantaloupe. You can eat a lot of it and still be low in calories. I also like hummus and triscuits.

Most people on here would suggest staying between those 2 numbers. I think 2000cals/day is acceptable. However, my fitness pal would probably suggest a lower number for your calorie intake. What I would do: If you stick with your 2000 cal diet, do not eat back your calories when exercising. If you stick with MFP's…

Hello! Feel free to add me.

I haven't loaded photos myself, but I have seen other people mention that IMG must be lower case (img). Hope this helps.

I struggle every day. I hate having to think about food all day long...what i'm going to eat, how much of it am I going to eat, etc. I am also a slow weight loser and I find it difficult to stay on plan. I also have a thyroid problem, which may be hindering my loss.

This is a favorite of mine, too. I also highly enjoy mojitos.

I'll try this. Normally I get the Skinny Lattes, but I love the seasonal drinks.

Love it! As long as you're having fun burning those calories

Funny! I don't like making a seen...I get embarrassed easily, but that would be hilarious.

I love pumpkin pie, too. I made some the other night without the crust and it's so yummy. I'm sure I've eaten more than my fair share.

I'm not really sore, it's tight feeling. I am a heel lander. Who knew there were different ways to run? I'm gonna google running technique and work on it.

I'm not really sure what shin splints are and what they feel like. What are the symptoms? My shoes are not old, but maybe I need a better pair. I've been walking regularly for a couple weeks now.

Thanks. I'm gonna give it another whirl tonight.

I would not recommend cutting out your milk/dairy intake. I would definitely choose nonfat or low fat versions of these, but the sugar in them is lactose, which is different from "table sugar". Milk is great for many reasons, such as bone health and protein. As for sugar in general, I am always over the sugar limit…

For me it took 20 pounds, but that may also be due to me wearing my pants snug before I started losing. It's one of those things where you don't want to go out and buy a larger size because you're ashamed and disappointed in yourself. I'm a pear shape, so as far as dresses it depends. If it's A-line, I can go down quicker…

I eat them every day, but I probably don't eat enough of them.

I looked at your food diary and it looks like you are eating a lot of simple carbs (white breads, etc). Maybe switch that up for some whole wheat and add more fruits and veggies. Are you feeling full on your calorie intake? Your calorie limit is on the lower end. Maybe adding a few more calories will jump start your…

Definitely don't cut out dairy. It's important for bone health. However, if you're looking to cut back on calories go with fat free or low fat options. If you can't go that route maybe try less of the cheese and cream. I'm having issues with flavored coffee creamer myself. I don't like plain coffee and sugar free syrups…

I would just suggest eating extra if you're exercising.

I had this issue and then found out I have hypothyroidism. It would be worth checking into.
