I have MS, pre-diagnosis it took me off my feet. The meds helped with weight-gain and the disease took my away from any form of exercise or movement, the flare-ups were serious. It took me a long time to find the meds that work, still have bad days. Now worked back up cycling, in the beginning it was feeble, now it's…

Massive milestone, well earned!

I had a charge HR and loved it, until it made my wrist red raw and painful... had to regretfully return it and opt for a Garmin.

Couldn't have written this better myself, thanks!

I eat the calories that MFP calculates, I also exercise hard daily and eat back my calories. So MFP calculate 1650 calories per day for me to lose my weight, I track all food no matter how small and my exercise and aim to hit the 1650. Works for me. When I stray from MFP I don;t do as well, I suppose I am less honest with…

I am around 5'11". First goal is 180lbs and see how that fits/looks/feels and taper from there if needed. At my lowest aged 21 I was about 135/140lbs and although I am an athletic build, that looked very small. I would probably got to 150 pounds considering my age.

Totally inspiring, well done and well earned new lifestyle, always feels amazing to fall in love with an activity that keeps you healthy. Thanks for posting this, feel proud of an internet stranger, in a way that I can continue to fight my own little battle....

Amazing results, well done! Can only echo what the others have said, work hard and eat well.. Try not to speed up weightloss as there can be some horrid repercussions, including plateauing... It takes a while to shift, with your determination, you should whip it!

Mainly because I was fed up with not being able to buy clothes off of the shelf, I could only buy what was available, regardless of style. Also because being fat impacted on my health, happiness and relationships... people judge you and are almost embarrassed of you when you are chubby. Also as a result of working hard, I…

I track once a week and will occasionally step on the scales a little more often than that, out of pure curiosity...

Not guilty of this one.... I cycle alone ;)

This has to be one of the most honest views I have read, thanks for sharing.

SOME people are incredibly shallow, I am big now but was incredibly fit and slim previously.. I've seen both ends of the scale. I find people treat you depending on their view of your attractiveness, when I was slimmer I got a lot of attention, now not so much (Thankfully). I find men just don't notice you and women are…

Sorry for your loss, that's tough :( Best advice I can give you is to get active, push your feelings into exercise and find a high impact exercise to really push you and drive your endorphins. I wouldn't restrict yourself too much, eat a moderate volume, burn it up and use the endorphins to drive you forward. For me this…

No, It's Sarra and people never say it right Saaaara, they call me Sarah, Zara or when corrected they tell me that I "Should" be Sarah.. Really? Wish it was something a little more straight-forward :/

A number of big issues combining into one result:- * Leaving an active job * Meeting a partner with a family of overeaters * Getting cosy in my relationship and failing to maintain my own interests * Depression and low self esteem, leading to severe comfort-eating * Weight gain leading to lower self esteem and larger gains…

Couldn't agree with this principle more, it's about eating right volumes then suiting the macros and burning calories off... Fad diets cause imbalance or psychological hangups, leading to binges...

Inspirational, I face a very similar challenge.. Thanks for showing its possible!
