Hiya, Thanks! I find it difficult to make myself do any exercise, I start work at 7.30am so unless I got up ridiculously early I can't really do much before work. I finish at 4.30pm but then have to get tea ready for the family, spend some time with my son after school. Once the kids are in bed is the only time I can…

Hello, I'm Katrina, I'm 25, married, mum of a 7 year old and a 2 year old and I live in Kingskerswell.

I do that too, sometimes a few days ahead, it keeps me on track and I can plan around different meals, make healthier choices or substitutes. If I just ate and then logged I would go over my calories by lunchtime lol!

I have been doing 16/8 for a couple of weeks now (fast from 8 at night til midday the next day) and can't believe how easy I find it. I had always been the type that would get up and eat breakfast right away, my mum is hypoglycemic and from a very young age it was conditioned into me that if I didn't eat in the morning I…

I find listening to water or rain helps me to fall asleep, there are some great videos on youtube, search on there for "rain sounds 8 hours" - I don't listen for the full 8 hours but I find after about 15mins I start to fall asleep so turn it off but lots of people do have it on all night.

I have asked about this before, and it seems to be true that you can't "spot reduce" fat, my thighs have been massive whilst the rest of me has got smaller. It is only this last week now that I am getting closer to my goal weight I have noticed my thighs are FINALLY giving up their fat! I am going to try to lose an extra…

I have been trying intermittent fasting and found 5:2 very difficult, I had to go up to 600 calories rather than 500 and still struggled. I am now doing 16/8 which I find much easier - I still eat my daily calorie allowance but between 12 noon and 8pm (you can choose an eating window that suits your lifestyle). They do say…

I had a "cheat" day yesterday and today I have been extra hungry, hoping tomorrow I will feel back to normal because I have found it quite hard today not to overeat again. Makes me wonder if "cheat" days are worth it for me!

I'd like to know the answer to this too...

Yes, I have been very bloated and the scales haven't moved all week so I have either stayed the same or maybe I will see a loss in a day or two once my body is "back to normal".

Hello, yes I started with a goal of about 14lbs, I have lost 7lb so far (in roughly a month). MFP put my calories at 1200 a day but I worked out my BMR and TDEE and adjusted my goal to 1311 from this so that I am at a 20% calorie reduction. Being fairly close to goal now it seems to be slowing down. I need more motivation…

I'm 5ft 1 and started at 133lbs, currently 126lbs, aiming for 118-119lbs :)

I found cutting carbs helped, I cut down to 100g or less per day and it kick started things again for me. I am slowly upping them again as I am finding it quite hard to keep it down at 100g or less - don't know how some people can do Atkins and other low carb diets over a long period, I like mine too much lol!

I'm 5'1, 25 years old and currently 128lbs, my goal is 119lb. My problem is I have HUGE thighs, I am quite happy with the rest of my body, my waist is 28" and my arms and everywhere else look fine, for some reason I carry it all on the front of my thighs. Hoping that by 119lb they will look better. I won't drop below 115lb…
