I'd say get a heart rate monitor and then log whatever the DVD is with calories burned from reading the heart rate monitor. And your intensity with a workout can make anything high impact. Good luck.

Agree! Walk, don't run to start. Then when you are comfortable with that start jogging between specific points. Pick a mailbox and jog just to the second mailbox. And so on. I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one. Thank you for this post. I started here in September of 2012 at 168 pounds. I've lost 22 pounds and only one pants size. Ugh!!!! Hope to maybe fit in one size smaller in another five pounds or so. Good luck!
