you'll gain 2mm

It also looks very cool. And space-saving. Still... It would hurt :)

I like it, but £79.20?....that brings out the Yorkshire in me.
-
just brilliant!
-
you're a little far afield for me to join but I hope you get some take-up. Route looks nice.
-
I suspect that it has something to do with the fact that the riders are dropping like flies.

The original definitions of the hill classifications came from the early days of the TdF, when the organisers would drive the route in a Citroen Avant. The category of the climb relates to the gear in which the car was able to make the climb, with the HC category being reserved for when the car conked out before the top.…

I've also ridden on with increasing dehydration because I dont have the confidence to leave my bike outside a shop on a busy road. Earlier this year I road the last 30 of an 85m jaunt with no fluids at all , just because all the shops I passed were facing straight onto the road. I favour forecourts generally, as they are…

This type of supposedly aero bottle holder was developed for Tri riders to keep the bottles in the riders wake (it attaches to the saddle rails). They dont look great and can be a bit rattley, but if used in conjunction with your two frame holders, that should give you plenty to drink. I can imagine that if I was riding…

no one wants to be team leader then!

I'll take a white rose too, if it's no extra hassle. Take the man out of Yorkshire...
-
Go on, I'll take the pie-lovers entry.

DNS for me for last three events. I had big plans, but alas real life came trampling through them.

Wow. Top work and dedication!

First one in today! Here is my ride for today's challenge. http://www.strava.com/activities/129746582 - 102.4km (the garmin actually had me at just over 103, but there you go) It was a lovely morning for ride but quite cold. After the first hour or so, I couldnt feel my toes any more. Still, once they're numb, it doesnt…

 that's a bit harsh! They've spent a lot of money knocking everything down and building a newer, shinier ****hole. @mat - you havent really given much of a clue what you're looking for. If its downtown accommodation with good access to restaurants, theatres, shops etc, then Salford Quays is quite nice. You could…

I love how much extra effort everyone is going to. As if 3+ hours on bike doesn't send a big enough statement, all over the world we're scouring shops for crazy **** to make our ride more authentic▪ Well done, everyone.

Also available on ebay (what isnt?) for £2.59/100 Ordered, so I shall look forward to giving it another go.

http://www.strava.com/activities/127462353 - 667m of climbing, solo This ride very nearly fell into the class of 'never happened'. I was sat on the couch, in my dressing gown at a little after 10am, when whilst scanning the interweb I noticed that cloggsy had already been out and finished his ride for the day. :noway: I…

I do now! http://www.kinomap.com/watch/prdu9x I'd already stripped a lot of the quality out the video in the GoPro suite, before the Kino uploader took what little was left. Sorry it looks like it was done with a 2002 smart phone. Also, check out how much the camera steams up on the climb. Thats steaming up the inside of a…

Where do you put them all?

From a (great) distance it bears a more than passing resemblance to its stablemate: (I've fixed the bars now - just havent updated the picture) I think its been scientifically proven that red bikes / cars / trainers / oven gloves are faster, hasnt it? I'm sure that without my angry paint job, I may well end up going…

I used to work in Ossett, if thats not too random a fact for you. I dont recall the shop, but it looks like a treasure trove of real / artisan brews. I feel another train crash picture heading in my direction :blushing:

I might need to cast my net further afield. My local supermarket had a whole 2 Belgian beers to choose from, and one of them was that weird fruity stuff that gives me heartburn. Thats an impressive selection there, no mistake.

After a few problems with this frame, I decided it was beyond economic repair. Therefore, its 'Goodbye, not so old friend' And say 'Hello, my new friend'

I heard a rumour that Google had a bunch of people out with backpack cameras, photo-mapping footpaths and bridleways. I dont know if that was just in the US or globally, and it will certainly take longer than the roads to complete, but that will be a nice additional feature when it arrives.
-
Not yet, but I plan to start. I think the location information gives an extra level of interactivity with the video, which can be otherwise be a bit dry (Especially road cycling). I might have missed that you already can, but it would be nice if you could search for videos by location too. See if someone else has already…

Sorry for the lateness of the entry. Here is my modest effort for the Gent - Wevelgem challenge. http://www.strava.com/activities/125576339 - 63.9km Nothing particularly steep today, although Strava does show a spike of 11.4% at 55:33. I think after last week I just wanted to ride around the worlds biggest billiards table.…

Just to round out this thread, TBY was on the right track with the cross-threading. A disappointing amount of thread shavings were present when I removed the cup, both from the shell and the cup. It could have been me, or it might have been the original build, as it destroyed its original BB in no time. It is steel, so I…
